I met my surgeon today and he says I'm a great candidate for the sleeve!! All I need to do is lose 3 lbs, visit the phsyc, and make an app for my caseworker and I'll be set!!

I got the phone call today from the Bariatrics department!! I will be going to the four hour orientation the day after tomorrow!!

We had our initial weigh in yesterday and was asked to give our availability for upcoming appointments. My next appointment will be with the surgeon next Tuesday for our first 1:1. I believe that's when we'll go over my chart and he'll see if I'm a fit candidate for the surgery itself. Good luck and ask questions. The group that I went with wasn't very friendly so if you need to ask questions that you'd rather not be taunted about ask during break.
