  8. I am 1 month postop today. Preop I was wearing a tight 20 jean. This weekend I tried on my size 16 capris & low & behold they were loose! I did a happy dance ☺
  9. @"yoyolie" I feel exactly the same. I wondered the same thing. Nothing has been an issue. Are you losing weight?
  10. Mine was the 2 week stall. Although I know it's normal. ..it's still frustrating. Keeping the faith though!
  11. Best of luck to you on this new journey. I'm almost 3 weeks po. I too was nervous of the the recovery. Believe you me...I had the easiest recovery. Not once did I have gas, nausea or vomiting or pain. I was amazed! To this day I feel great 27 lbs lighter! Hoping the same for you!
  12. Great! I'm 2 weeks po today & down 27 lbs since starting the 2 week preop! ☺

  14. Best of luck on your new journey! I am 12 days post op & have had an easy, uncomplicated recovery. Hope the same for you!
  15. Hang in there! I'm 10 days post op. Fortunately for me, my po has been quite easy. I have never had nausea or any issues with pain or getting my fluids in. Take one day at a time ☺
  16. I was cathed. It was takwn out the 2nd day. I was in recovery for 5 hrs & mu husband was withw me the entire time & even stayed the night. I was fortunate enough to have a private room with a pull out bed. As far as the gown, it was just easier. I had a robe for walking. Best of luck to you. 8 days post op & had an easy recovery!
  17. The preop isn't too bad. There were a few times I snuck a lil something. Not that I encourage that. I am 8 days post op & feel perfectly fine. No issues whatsoever. Best of luck of your journey. It's completely doable!

  21. Best of luck tomorrow! 1 week po today & honestly recovery was a breeze!
  22. One day at a time! Stay strong.
  23. My surgery was Tuesday. I have to admit the recovery has been quite pleasant. The first day was a little rough. More from the anesthesia though. 4th day post op. At my godson's 1st bday party. I wasn't sure I'd be able to come. Here, surrounded by food. No temptations. Have my protein drink & broth. You'll do fine. Stay positive! Best of luck!
  24. Wish me luck. Today's the day. Lucky St Patty's Day ????????????????
  25. This forum especially this thread has been a godsend to ease my jitters. My lucky day is March 17th ???? I think it's symbolic considering this will be the day of my new lifestyle change! I too am nervous & fear of the "unknown" has kicked in! I have felt all the same emotions as each of you have stated. The pre op liquid was challenging! I'm human & I did cave a few times which only gave me a reality check! I'm looking forward to this new journey. Best of luck to you all!
