Hello, I am currently trying to get more info on the Gastric Sleeve to see if its right for me. I was trying to see if anybody in the Cleveland area had it done and which hospital they would choose. There are two major hospitals in Cleveland, Cleveland Clinic and UH. Which one would be a better fit. I'm 6'5 446.

I just noticed that every time I eat something rather it's tuna or yogurt. Within 30 minutes I have to boo boo. Is this normal with gastric sleeve? And sometimes it's a slight burn to it too, I know tmi lol

Sleeved in December. Been getting my food down and pain has completely gone away. Can I start running or playing ball?

Hello I was sleeved on Monday, got discharged Wednesday night. No major concerns just trying to get the Fluid I need. Yesterday I got in 2 16.9 ounces of Water and 10 ounces of G2 and then a can of Cream of chicken blended with broth. I do have aches from the surgery on my stomachs where the biggest cuts was made. I do feel tightness around my abdominal area, is that normal? I have been walking around when I can and everything. Tell me about your experience week after surgery. And if everything sounds normal to you with the tightness of the abs

Hello. I'm stuck trying to choose the best option for me. I'm a 400+ person. Young but I'm active for my size. I play a lot of basketball and wanna still be able to do that and more with my friends. I'm trying to figure out what's the honest main difference between sleeve and bypass with a ring. As far as complications vs the weight loss. And over all lifestyle change. Thanks for the help in advance.

Hello all, I am getting ready to begin the process for getting the sleeve hopefully. I have my first appointment this week with my Medical Doctor and psychologist. I hope I can get approved for real. I haven't been to the doctor in years almost 10 so I am scared with what they may say and if that may have any complications. I'm 480 6'6. I am pretty active. I just started back working out. Been playing basketball 2-3 times a week. Don't have as much energy as the competition lol. Any tips on how I can be successful??

Hello, I'm really nervous while I'm writing this. Guess it's kind of life changing. I filled out the questionnaire for Cleveland clinic WLS. I just got a call today scheduling my appointments for medical doctor, nutritionist, and With Phillip Schauer the surgeon. MD and Nut is scheduled for April 15. Nutritionist for April 22. Meet with Dr. Schauer on May 3rd. I'm nervous about the process and ready to improve my health. Any tips? What I need to get gathered or work on in the meantime? My medical insurance is United Healthcare. CCF advised me it was covered under my insurance.
