I am 23 years old with a degree in music. I am scheduled to have gastric sleeve on April 7 of 2015. I have tried many different ways to lose weight and none of them seemed to work longer than a year. I am using this surgery as a tool to be healthier and to help me be able to have a career that I want. Singers and actors get a lot of flack for appearance and performance is the only place where you can be denied a job or fired for your appearance and it will not be a violation of rights. My parents have each had WLS and they have had their ups and downs but they have told me that the would never go back.
