  1. I know people complain of PBing and vomiting after surgery, but I am two years out and still doing it all the time. There are some days when I will throw up ten or more times. My doctor did a test and said I have not slipped. But, how can I live like this? Am I the only one? Lois 278/162 5/31/06 Lap Band Problems

    Vomiting and can't stop....HELP

I am so sick and tired of vomiting. It is the worst part of the lap-band. I love how I look, hate getting up to throw up so many times! Lois 278/162 5/31/06 Lap Band Problems
  3. I did the barium swallow and it was okay. But, this is why the band was drained. I think you may be right -- I need another doctor. I wish insurance weren't such an issue. Lois 278/162 5/31/06 Lap Band Problems
  4. Oh, I forgot to mention! I had my band completely drained a year ago. I chew like crazy. Sometimes I throw up after a single bite of food! Lois 278/162 5/31/06 Lap Band Problems
  5. chicken is harder on the stomach. Unfortunately, it is my favorite food. But, it is just hard to eat. Same goes for bread and fruit -- two other faves. Take a little out. There is a tendency to be afraid that a looser band will mean you will lose slower. The truth is, you don't want to be getting sick. I certainly did enough of that. I have lost what I needed to do -- but through exercise. The band keeps me honest. Keep your head in the game and be confident that you can lose it, then loosen it up a bit. You will feel so much better. 278/160 5/31/06 Lap Band Problems
