  1. I am so sad to hear this. I had my one day of depression on Saturday and I felt like my world was ending. I cannot imagine what you're going through. All I can do is pray for you and hope for the best. I am so sorry.
  2. Wow thanks for all the advice. I'm excited!
  3. That's so exciting! Congrats!!
  4. I see.. I can't wait to start soft solids! One more week!

  6. So I'm 6 days post op. I've noticed a few things. Some are common sense but when you're in recovery, they just don't click. So... I've felt semi normal about 2 days this past week. Why? I wasn't sure until I really thought about it. I am basically starving my body which includes my brain. I feel this fog that won't go away. I've noticed the days that I've consumed more calories I've felt better. So this makes me think that once I consume more calories on a daily basis I'll feel better? What have you experienced? TIA!
  7. I know right! I find it hard to do anything else if all I'm doing is thinking about sipping water. I figure as long as I'm drinking my protein shakes and having a popsicle now and then and drinking a bottle of water....That should be fine. I'm still urinating 3x daily
  8. Thanks for all the encouragement! I feel better this morning. I might even venture to the store today
  9. I'm 5 days post op and I'm hitting the "regret" phase. I know everyone goes through it and it usually goes away. I was doing so good yesterday and today I can't even drink enough without feeling full. I'm so depressed. I knew this would happen and I have hope but this really sucks. Words of encouragement would be great. Thanks
  10. Thanks! I actually feel tons better I think I just drank my water way too fast and then tried to have my cereal. I already called. They said it sounds normal and to just do clear liquid the rest of today and start my normal full liquid tomorrow.
  11. Good to hear that. Yeah my surgeon does full liquids right after surgery. Which allows cream soups, yogurt and thinned cream of wheat. I was fine until I took that extra sip of the cereal. Then bam, I can't stop regurgitating. I'm afraid I'll rip my sleeve from all the vomiting..
  12. I just keep burping and I feel like my esophagus is full of food. It's not getting any better. It's getting worse.
  13. I've been feeling great. Although today I've been drinking faster and tried to have my cream of wheat too close to my water and now I feel full. Like its in my throat and the only thing that will make me feel better is to throw up. I threw up like 2 times but very little. Has this happened to you? What helps? Is this restriction?
  14. How exciting!! I'm 4 days post op and I feel great. I had it hard the day of surgery, I had to stay an extra night. But I feel so much better now. Gas pain is almost non existent for me, I haven't taken anything for pain since Wednesday, I guess it really depends on your body, your surgeon and your support team. You got this!
  15. I guess I'll keep weighing everyday. I'm so use to it and it doesn't seem too uncommon lol
  16. Oh dang girl! Nausea is normal, vomiting isn't. I would defiantly call your surgeon asap
  17. Okay I don't feel so bad now lol
  18. I'm an obsessive "weigher". I weigh myself daily. I don't want to do that anymore. Tips?
  19. I am three days post op today. I am very dizzy and weak. Is this normal? I've been trying my best to keep up on my fluids but I find it hard because of my restriction. Please tell me this gets better?
  20. Very normal! It will come fast so be prepared. Everyone has different experiences. I wasn't nervous until I was being wheeled back. You can do this!
  21. Oh okay. It's been normal for me like 98.6. One time at the hospital it was like 99.8 but it went down right away. Now I took it and it's 99.7. Hoping I don't have a leak. I don't have pain or vomiting.
  22. So I'm 2days post op and I feel like I have some chills and my temp is 99.5. Should I be concerned or is it normal? 99.5 isn't elevated but it's getting close to be considered a fever. Waiting for my surgeon to call back, just wanted opinions Tia
  23. Lol... I am on full liquids, thank god!
