It's spooky close!

Tuesday is the day and the closer it gets, the more anxious I get. Not about the surgery but about having what I need in the hospital and after...lol!

Had my type and screen and did the registration and all the paperwork today. I talked to the surgeon today and he answered all my questions before I could even ask them! That made me so happy! All I have to do Tuesday is show up...at 0530!!!!

How exciting!! I'm 4 days post op and I feel great. I had it hard the day of surgery, I had to stay an extra night. But I feel so much better now. Gas pain is almost non existent for me, I haven't taken anything for pain since Wednesday, I guess it really depends on your body, your surgeon and your support team. You got this!

Congratulations!!! I pray I don't have a lot of crazy pain. U think that's my biggest concern since I have drug allergies and prefer not to take anything if I can help it. But my surgeon and my support system is great so I'm ready!!

What did you buy to prepare yourself once you got back home?

You don't sound like you are doubting your decision to have the surgery. I think that is most of the battle. As long as you know you are doing the best thing you can do for yourself, then one or two days of pain is worth what you get in return.
