    December sleevers

I was sleeved December 30th 2014 and have lost 48 lbs. About a month ago my hair started falling out like crazy, thankfully I have very thick hair so it hasn't been that noticeable but hoping it slacks off soon! I feel like my weight loss has been so slow. I am thankful for what I have lost but it is very frustrating going a month and having lost only a pound.

    December 31st Sleevers

I was sleeved on December 30th . SW was 255 and currently 229. I also feel like my weight loss has been slow. I have been in a stall for the past 9 days which is extremely frustrating!

    STALLS

Thanks for the support. It does help knowing I'm not the only one going through this
  5. I am a 34 yo labor and delivery nurse and mother of 3. Glad to find this group! I was sleeved on 12/30/14 my SW was 255.8 and I am currently 230.8. I have been going through a stall for the past 8 days so that has been very frustrating. Only thing I have had problems with since surgery is on the days I work, getting in all my protein and water. Especially on a very busy day. Which have been a lot lately!

SECOND stall in 2 months post-op

So glad to read other people are having this problem too. I am down 25 lbs since surgery, which was on 12/30. Over the past 8 days I have fluctuated from 230.2 to 230.8. This morning it was 230.8. It's very frustrating.

    STALLS

I am 7 weeks out today and am also going through a stall. For the past 7 days the scales are stuck at 230.8. It is very frustrating. I keep thinking... Is this it?... Even though I know it will eventually start moving down again.

Weight loss at 6 weeks post op

I was 6 weeks post op yesterday and as of this morning I am down 25 lbs. I have just started exercising this week. I feel like my weight loss has been a little slow but as long as the scales are moving down I'm happy. I was 255 on the day of surgery and currently 230. I make sure to get all of my water and protein in everyday. I limit my carbs and sugar.

    December sleevers

I was sleeved December 30th and doing great. I have not had any problems at all since surgery. I'm able to get all my protein and wAter in without any problems. Sometimes it worries me because I have not found any foods that I can't handle. I'm sticking to my diet and have lost a 24 lbs since surgery.

    Any December 30th Sleevers ?!

I have had some whole grain crackers but no bread or biscuits.. I was told it's ok to have maybe a wheat tortilla or something like that but avoid bread. I would especially avoid biscuits.

    Any December 30th Sleevers ?!

@@bellabill Yes it was a very rough 3 days but doing well now. I was down 21 lbs this morning. Haven't had any problems at all. I am making sure I measure out everything because I feel like I could probably eat more that I should.

    30 something...

I'm a 34 yo mother of 3 (9,12,14). I had the sleeve done on 12/30/14 so I am almost 5 weeks out. As of this morning I am down 21 lbs and feeling great. The weight is coming off a little slower than I expected but as long as the scales are moving down I am happy. The first week postop was rough for me. I had a lot of pain and also my dad passed away 3 days after my surgery. As of now I'm felling better than I have in years. It is a huge adjustment for my kids. But they are adapting. It's been better for my entire family.

    Any December 30th Sleevers ?!

I was sleeved on December 30th and was glad to run across this thread. Love to read other people's experiences that are around the same stage as me. The first week and a half after surgery for me was rough, a lot of pain and also had the unexpected death of my dad three days after my surgery. Food has always been my comfort in stressful situations, so in one of the most stressful events in my life I had to find new ways to cope. All is well now, I'm physically feeling better than I have in years. My weight the day of surgery was 255 and this morning I'm 234. I haven't had any problems with nausea, getting water or protein down, or intolerance to any foods. I can pretty much eat anything (of course avoiding breads, rice, sugar) and tolerate it. There are still days or moments when I look at my husbands plate and wish I could enjoy a plate of food but it doesn't take long for that to pass. I am thankful for this tool and will not take it for granted
  14. I am 5 weeks out and have only lost 19 lbs. my doctor said that was fine. I was 255 on day of surgery, which was December 30, and now 236. I wish it was more but I'm just happy to see the scales moving down. I thought it would be more but everyone is different
