Nervous - Does Anyone Else Feel This Way

I felt the same way. One week post op I said to my BF ( who had RNY 2 yrs ago and has lost over 150lb) what if this doesn't work for me? She said what a good friend should say " your crazy you had 80% of your stomach removed you will loss weight ". When I start to freak myself out about slow wt loss I think follow the plan it has worked for others it will work for me/you.

    Not losing anything? ?

I stopped loosing wk 2. I am now at 4 1/2 wks and have lost 2 lb in 2 1/2 weeks. I am staying the course and trusting all you experts who have been through this already.

    Movie time

I am 4 wks out and would NOT try popcorn. Have you tried turkey pepperoni... If you microwave 5-10 sec. They are like chips. I would not eat many at your stage but a few could be a movie treat for you. Part of this process is making better choices... And yes some days that is really hard ...

    Emmotionally exausted?

Yes i found wk 2 and 3 to be really emotional. Once i was feeling better it set in that i could not eat. I am not complaining... It was just surprising to me. Hang in there.

I'm done going through this procedure

I wish you the best of luck. As we all know surgery is a tool to loss weight but not the only way to loss weight. I made the choice because I need to make a permanent change. While the process is extensive it gives you the time to really think about what a major decision it is.

    OMG pain! 36hours post op

Are you having the pressure/ pain in your shoulders? That is so painful. the only way to help is to get that trapped air out by moving around. I did heat and walking. Also try laying on your left side. Hope you feel better soon.

    Sex talk warning

I resumed wifely duties????12 days post op. We had the rare chance to be home alone. No "issues" during or after. That should count as exercise ... Right? Lol
