    Plateau already?!

Be sure to do some basic measurements as well along with your weigh-ins. I made a nifty excel document for me to log everything and show me changes between measurements. Some good ones to keep track of are neck, chest, waist, hips, quads, and biceps. Sometimes you can't rely on just the scale when your clothes are fitting better.

The pre op diet was hard for me the first few days but it got easier. Eat to live.

Bro, I got you. I had my surgery Dec 23rd 2014. I'm an engineer for the Army (contractor) and have plenty of time to answer questions or talk. I'm 27 in Texas so feel free to contact me whenever with questions and ill answer usually asap.
  4. It does get a lot easier. The first few weeks I regretted getting the surgery but after seeing weight loss and bring able to buy normal people clothes and save a lot on food I wouldn't change my decision. Like the others said, take it one day at a time and watch the weight fall off. Your body will thank you.
  5. Haha. A pound is a pound is a pound but I would rather be packing muscle than fat. I got my surgery on Dec 23rd 2014 and been going to the gym from Jan 12th this year. At first I couldn't finish a workout but over time my endurance increased. I've been weight lifting and running from 1-3 miles a day. I can definitely tell that muscle has been building and strength has been increasing (according to the bodyspace app). It's entirely possible to build muscle, gain strength, and lose weight at the same time.
