  1. Hello, I'm Karen. I have had my lap-band for about a year and a half. I live in NYC and had my surgery there. I think for the most part my journey has been pretty good. I have lost 80 pounds and definitely lots of inches. I am 31 and now getting ready to head into the dating scene which is a little anxiety provoking. There are days where I have no problems with my band and other days that I feel like I can't eat anything. No matter though, I have no regrets and have lost weight and gained control that I would have never done without the surgery. I just found this web site and am so glad I did. Thanks!!! Karen from Manhattan :clap2:
