  1. When you say sick to your stomach, Are you vomiting? I had my first fill about 8 weeks ago and the first 5 weeks, I vomited many times. I was okay with very soft foods but I had a problem with most solids. Apparently my band was too tight and they had to withdraw 1/4 of a cc. If you are vomiting, call your doctor, too much vomiting can lead to band slippage. Good Luck.
  2. I too was denied by United Health care however my insurance company specifically has a clause that excludes treatment of obesity.
