  1. We'll they do look a bit red but really hard to tell when looking at a picture. Your doc will help out with that!
  2. Can I ask how far out you are from surgery?
  3. My pain feels like that pain you get when you run (like hard running) ....at the gym they call that pain a "stitch"...
  4. I've been getting that pain too. Been wondering what it is...
  5. I am just a little over 4 weeks out (surgery June 8, 2015) and only weighed myself when I got home from the hospital and had gained so much Fluid from surgery(7 lbs) thst I made the decision to only weigh myself monthly so when I weighed myself at 4 weeks I was pleasantly surprised I had lost 20 lbs! I don't want to get discouraged by stalls, etc, so I'm concentrating on how my clothes fit and how good I feel instead. It's really a freeing feeling to not be so tied to the scale!!!! Good luck!!
  6. Is like to know the answer to this as well. I feel like sometimes when I bend down, I feel like things are "rolling" under my ribs!
  7. I am 3 1/2 weeks out and I have chosen not to weigh myself until possibly next week. I don't want to know if I have the "stall" so I'm not going there yet because I don't want to feel discouraged! Good luck
  8. Yeah, I'll be 3 weeks out tomorrow and haven't weighed myself since week 1 and my monthly cycle started today so I'm definitely not going to weigh myself for another week or so. My clothes are getting looser every week though!
  9. Oh my gosh. Just finally was relieved from severe constipation tonight. Have 3 hemmroids as a result and let me tell you, popping out a pineapple is exactly what it feels like. Oh my gosh, almost passed out on the toilet this afternoon and was drenched in sweat! It was horrible. Delivering my 10 lb son was a piece of cake compared to the "pineapple". So dr gave me a fleet enema as well as told me to take restoralax, as well as senokot for the time being. Worst thing EVER!!! But I'll sleep tonight!!
  10. June 8th here. My gas pains are gone now but am suffering from major constipation. Going to see my family dr this afternoon and hopefully he can prescribe me with a still softener!
  11. I had a tickle in my throat for about 3 days. That was tough.
  12. June 8th here too. Yes a bit frustrated here too. I have no feeling of restriction at all. I see my family doctor today.
  13. I had a tubal ligation after my third child was born while in the hospital and it was ten times worse than my sleeve surgery. Not sure why but it was!
  14. Success this am! Scary endeavour though!!
  15. Used a suppository a little while ago. Hoping things move quickly. My sons graduation is tonight. Can't sit through it like this
  16. Sitting here right now in major discomfort I'm worried I'm impacted! I gave birth to my 10 lb son easier than this!! Crazy
  17. I had my sleeve on june8th and am a type 2 diabetic. I left the hospital with the orders not to take my metformin anymore. YAyyyyy. Still on mild dose if coversyl, but I was told will most likely be off that soon as well. All the best for you!!
  18. I have had quite loose bowel movements since I've been home (surgery June 8). Not sure if it's the protien powder or what but seem to be one of tr rare cases where I'm not constipated! Good luck
  19. I lost 24 lbs on my 2 week liquid pre op diet!
  20. I was done Monday as well. Today the gas pains are much better. I only feel it when I drink or eat for about 15 sec. Then it's gone
  21. I am still passing gas and I had my surgery on Monday. But it's definitely better each day that passes
  22. I had my surgery on Monday as well (June 8th) and I find today, Thursday, I feel sooooo much better. I walked. And walked. And walked at the hospital and I think thst made the difference for me. I am still quite tired from the Anethestic, but the incision pain is a lot better today. Good luck!!
  23. My surgery is June 8th so only 3 1/2 more days on this liquid diet. I have dropped 18 lbs so far and I now feel like I have no energy. So much to do before Monday but no energy to do it! Guess I'll have to ask for some help!!!(GASP!!!!!!!!!!). Lol
  24. One of my sisters (who is also overweight ) had this conversation the other day. She mentioned early on thst she was worried she would be jealous thst she wouldn't lose like I was by doing it on her own. I told her I don't want this to come between us. But I've lost a significant amount of weight on my preop liquid diet and I can see her already getting uptight around me. She swears she will NEVER get this surgery...it's not for her. Anyhow, I'm trying to just act the same and not talk about it with her.
