    No One In The Sixties?

To all you beautiful and on your way to becoming healthy slims, may your day ho smooth and may you make right choices, No giving up now. It's all worth the effort. I have gone from being on an overflowing shoe box filled medication container to just two now. No more insulin or diabetic meds, no more high blood presume meds, AIC 10 to 5.5 In a couple of days I will turn 68 and so full of energy I never thought I could have. I had mine on 12/17/14 doen from 274 to 145 went from 3x to size 12. Yes every bit worth it. Best to all.
  4. Hi everyone my surgery WAS 17 of Dec 2014 I am doing a lot better since my first 3 months just got out of the hospital again had some type of a blockage with an ulcer doctor went in there and did surgery I feel like it's coming along fine I have a follow up on the 29th I guess there's only 2% that get this blockage after surgery and I was one of the 2% 50 50 chance I will heal completely so I'm hoping it waves to my side. I was an almost 274 pounds when I started contemplating getting the surgery now I'm 151 yeah yeah I feel good other than the what's happening right now. Have never had so much energy. Don't want to lose too much more but the doctor wants me at 140 pounds it moves slowly I see a drop maybe every two weeks now. Best of everything to all and let's all HANG IN THERE.

    I'm scared I'll be saggy....

I procrastinated on meds, until I was told I needed insulin. When first diagnosed I was told I was borderline, bad choice of words from the doctor, so I didn't worry or take it seriously, thought it was just a an affect of having lost a son. All you were diagnosed with was my diagnoses as well. Don't wait, take it seriously now! I I hit 274 and tried every diet out there, tried exercising but no consistent. Doctor suggested surgery ten yrs ago, but thought I could do it on my own. Finally at age 66 and 264 lbs. I went for it. Best thing I could have Don for self. You are young, and so much to look forward to. And as for loose skin well that's secondary to being healthy and meds free. There is always skin removal surgery if exercising doesn't do it. After surgery you are going to find out that you have so much energy that if it's hard to exercise now, you will be thrown back by how energetic you will become. Best of everything. God bless
  9. My was 12/17 down 56 lb. I use coconut oil mixed in with my lotions and that has helped me with the dry skin. Keep on loosing guys.

    Stomach pain 4.5 months out?

Yes 9 was out and I am having the Sam problems, I find that prune juice helps some as Almond milk. Sometimes don't even want to eat again I just drink lots of water. I haven't done any walking so I figured that might be my problem.
  13. Hi all I wish I had been on this post since it was started I would have learned so much from you all. My surgery was 12/17 I have lost 52 lbs have not gotten much exercise in lately, at the begging I was so energetic and on the go but now I am having lots of blotting and feel but don't vomit. All the food I eat which is about 2-3 once still come down very heavy. I eat we at crackers to settle my stomach, can't tolerate the liquid vitamins or calcium and have 30 grams of powder protien with small amount of almond breeze unsweeten not sure if i am getting enough of anything at this time yet i never feel hungry all i crave is lemond water. Any suggestions for.me.

    Knot in chest?

I am 9 weeks out and still get that feeling. I too have to wait a while. At first I was afraid to take another sip or bite because the feeling was horific, so I would cut that meal short and later would have just 2 small wheat crackers which I could tolerate better. My problem now is dealing with always feeling blotted after a meal. So far I have lost 52lbs since 12/17
