Sleeved with PCOS, don't want to get pregnant
A lot of woman's periods are out of whack after the surgery. I've always been super regular, but even mine was late after surgery & I spotted when I shouldn't have been. You're body is just going through a lot of changes. I think there may be some other post on this topic if you search. I remember looking for them at one point, too.

What’s Your Relationship with Exercise?
Hate... Only hate. I workout 5 days a week about 45minutes each time, & I hate every stinking second of it! My husband is my accountability partner. He's supper athletic, so it's nice to have someone to go with... But it still sucks. I hope with all my heart that I will one day like it!! Lol until then at least I can read my Nook while I'm on the elliptical!

Coworkers talking.. "she had something done"
I tell people that I'm eating really small portions & working out a lot. No need to tell them my business in extreme detail. It's a private thing to me.

Need a quick answer.
My first month I lost 27lbs. On surgery day I was 252, which was just enough to qualify. Since, however, I only weigh on the 1st of every month. I can't weigh every day or week b/c it drives me insane.

Weighing during Menstruation
Okay, I'm just curious, if you weigh during your period do u weigh a couple pounds heavier than normal? I was always about 2-3 pounds heavier whenever I weighed before my surgery. Now, though, my diet has changed so much I wonder if it's still the same. I only weigh once a month, & it fell on my period this time.

Is this pain normal - one week out?
This exact thing happened to me. I just over did it. If you're like me, you may wanna take it really easy for the first 3 weeks. After that you'll be much better off!

Hair falling out after 2 months!
You should definitely stop coloring. I've had to as well, so I know it sucks. It'll be worth it though! Every time you color you're damaging your hair. You want your hair to be as health as possible right now to give it the best chance it can have. I've been using this shampoo with biotin in it, but I know there are much better products out there. There are a ton of forums on this with lots of shampoo info if u search it. Also, be sure you're taking 10,000mcg of biotin daily & getting your protein in. ... If that doesn't work, we can be wig sisters! Lol that's my plan.

December sleevers
I noticed a stall, so I stopped weighing! I just weigh on the 1st now, & it is working great. You bean tell that I'm losing regularly again now, but I'm still only weighing just once a month.

What shampoo do you use?
Good point! I really had no idea it could last that long. I think I may order some. I just feel like it'd be a smart preventative thing to do.

What shampoo do you use?
Yeah, my doctor told me the same thing. I'm not actually experiencing hair loss. I just thought it couldn't hurt to use a better shampoo & conditioner to help prevent it. I am trying this stuff with collegian & biotin in it. I've heard Nioxion is the best though. It's just kinda pricey.

1 month post- is my loss normal?
Thanks y'all! I really am thrilled that I've lost what i have so far! I feel so much better already & can tell a big difference in certain clothes. I just wasn't sure if it was typical. My husband has said a lot of what everyone else has said, but it helps to hear it from people who are experiencing/ have experienced the same thing. I'm not someone who can weigh a lot. It has always discouraged me. It's like no matter what it's never good enough or I think I could've worked out harder & more. But, you're all right! As long as it's going down I'm on the right path. I'm just a Type A perfectionist.... I probably shouldn't even weigh. Just use a tape measure lol. Trust the process!

1 month post- is my loss normal?
Hello! Today i am 1 month post-op. Highest weight: 261 Day of surgery: 252 Today: 228 Height: 5' x 7" So, I've lost about 24lbs, & I'm thrilled over it! However, I see a lot of people with much larger numbers at this point. Is my weight loss normal/typical for my height & starting weight? I only weigh once a month, so at one point I think I stalled.

Telling Coworkers
Do not tell them. It's none of their business. Just tell them you're eating small portions & working out a ton!

Should I or shouldn't I ?
It took me 2 full week before I could go back, & when I did go back it was during a super busy time. I'm the lead decorator at a cake shop, & we had a huge bridal show coming up that required a lot of time from me. My job is very physical, but I was able to get through it. You should take the promotion. You can do it!!

2 month follow-up

Hair loss
This is a big fear of mine, but my hair dresser said there are cuts that'll help it look better. Mostly short pixie cuts with lots of layers. If it gets real bad though, I'll just buy a wig... Seriously, there are some great wigs out there, & it's not forever!!

BCBS of Mississippi
You can call them & find out exactly what you need & your requirements for the surgery. Even if you have 1 type of insurance, your actual policy can vary from another persons... That's how mine was.
