  1. Effexor is a great drug but missed doses are a definite problem..... I think I've finally decided on bypass rather than banding so the Effexor issue will probably be a problem for the first few weeks. My pharmacist also said that applesauce is the best way to take it. I think you'll be ok with the Band. Good luck.
  2. I'm on Effexor 150 also and have pending LapBand or Bypass - I can't seem to make up my mind about which procedure. I am concerned about not being able to get down/keep down the Effexor also - Does anyone else get major dizziness if they miss a dose? I'm afraid I'll be a mess after the surgery!
