I am ready - let's do this!!!!

I cooked last night for my family and ate with them, (my yummy Protein shake) I can't hide from them eating for the rest of my life. Last night was the big test and I passed with flying colors. I knew before that I was ready for surgery but now I know that I am mentally ready as well ????

I am so excited and happy, today is a week since I started my preop diet and I have lost 11lbs. ???????????? Surgery is on Thursday, I can not believe its almost here.

I went to eat a Casino Buffet, my parents had invited me, I had never been there before. I am enjoying my food when I notice there was a couple of guys trying to take a picture of me. I stopped eating, I let my parents finish eating and when I got to the car I cried. The thing is I do not even eat a lot, I have health issues that prevent me from working out and I have made poor choices in my food. I have not been to any buffet since and that is also when I started to look into weight loss surgery. People are so mean and just don't understand because they have never walked in our shoes. Nobody wakes up one day and says I want to be obese, there is so many more issues that they would never understand unless they have gone through it.

My sister asked me if I was nerves or scared and I told her no. I am leaving everything in Gods hands. I have been doing good with my preop diet and I am praying that continues after surgery. I have been stressing about not starting my period because I do not want to be on it during surgery. I was actually excited that I started this morning.

I am also struggling day 3 of preop for me. I am also good during the day, it's the evenings when I get hungry and I also get headaches. Today I had a meltdown and started crying and told myself if I can just get something to eat right now I will get it out of my system and not cheat again. Well we all know that is not going to happen if I cheat once I will cheat again. So I put my big girl panties on made my shake and broth and I am laying in bed reading all the forums on here ????WILL POWER AND PRAYER ????

Eas Advantage has a caramel café flavor that I find goes down really easily. The Premier Protein vanilla shakes are pretty good as well!

I didn't give in ????. It took a lot of will power but I didn't do it. Very proud of myself

I had the same problem with my 19 year old daughter, so I let her come to my appointments and she asked questions. She also told the doctor what she was worried about. He had me take her to the seminar they provide after that she was very comfortable and is now my number one supporter ????

I also have a fb group that I am updating everyday, I just started it last week as it is easier for me to check Facebook. My group is a closed group and only members can see it ????
