As we age our color in our faces change and you will look like "Whatever happened to Baby Jane" as you get to the antique years. Think really hard before you do this. I would not risk it for anything. IMHO! Preserve your youthfulness carefully..It can't be renewed! I am 58 and still never wear anything but foundation and brow pencil and lipstick. Natural is the only thing that can't go wrong, Ladies!
  2. Sept. I will be 59 and that is getting up there. I love being banded and am doing very well. Clothes sizes are dropping and I just can't say how much I love the band. From size 22-24 down to 16 and 12-14's depending on the piece and brand of course. My pictures are on the Before and After thread. I am pleased to say that my Jowls are shrinking as my weight is going down. I will need a tummy tuck as this is one area that has no tone at all. My neck is looking thinner but a bit crepe-y. (Like crepe paper) I don't know if I will have any thing done about that. I never believed I would be able to get the surgery but it sure happened and I am thrilled with it. My difficulties have been non-existant. I had a slight hernia in my esophagus but they did nothing to fix it since it was small. I have not had vomiting and only one PB. I hadn't chewed well and it was a breakfast biscuit. I highly recommend the band to anyone if they qualify and the doctor agrees to it. They know best. I was told at first that the Roux N Y was the best for me but it was not my first choice. Doctor agreed to do the band and it was easy for him to get it in. (He said so)
  3. I have taken out several inches in some pants and shirts. Everything is getting too big. (Even my panties.) Ou La La!!!

  5. Fourth fill .4 cc was added. I am down to 163.8 lbs and the measurements are improving even as the pounds don't. 5' 2" 45" bust 38" waist 42" hips 6.25" wrist 14.5: calf 12 " bicep 21.5 thigh 15" neck Of course my head is swelling to unmeasurable proportions from feeling so good about myself. I danced to "Burn the Floor" for a few minutes Monday and it made me feel so good. My feet felt like lead from lack of dancing for so many years. That will be my exercise for weightloss since I hate to walk or anything in public. Just too shy!!! I put a stripper pole up in the basement a couple years ago and one day I will dance with that. (I just know it) Just for me of course... My mother-in-law has told me how good I am looking. I bought a few pieces of clothes and I am fitting into 12/14's (snuggly). Can't wait to see how small I will get eventually. My premarriage weight was 86 lbs. I don't want to see that again. I felt awful at times. Not anorexia just no appetite. I even started taking WateOn tablets to gain.. I am anxious to get a tummy tuck. Since that is where the majority of the flab is that will be neat. I am 58 YO and feel like 25.

What a surprise the all-stars that appeared tonight...Prince. Dionne Warwick, Burt Bacharach, Meatloaf, Al Jareaue, Toni Braxton, Mary J Blidge, Many of the past contestants. It was fun and wild to see the shock of the appearances. Still don't know who will win. I don't really care though..the best were all booted off...
  8. It's all in My Head!????
  9. How about 'Innerspace Nodule'?
  10. Let us keep this light-hearted, Folks!
  11. If your husband says those pants make you look fat and you are happy...You are a bandster! No might about it! If you ever asked your husband to burp you...You might be a bandster! If you look down in front of your body and notice a lap..you might be a bandster! If you worry about how to explain your recent weightLOSS....You might be a bandster! If you can tie your shoes for the first time in years...You might be a bandster! If you suddenly cross your legs and it startles you ....You might be a bandster! If you are riding in the car and your arms and hands are beside you instead of folded across your big belly...You might be a bandster!

  16. My daughter when in high school was discussing discipline in schools and she said she supported bringing back Capital punishment to the schools. Yeah .....Me too, Tee Hee! Corporal punishment maybe!
  17. My sister-in-law is of a nationality that alot of jokes are made from. I don't want to offend anyone on here so I will leave the nationality to your imagination. These are a couple of things that cheered us over the years. By the way she is a certified nursing assistant. Scary to me!.... We got a reassignment (Air Force) to Clovis, New Mexico back in the 80's. When we told her she asked if we needed a passport to go there. We bought a hot tub and it was really relaxing for us. When SIL heard that we had a pillow for our tub (they had a beautiful pool with hot tub attached) She said "We tried that once but the pillows got so heavy that it just didn't work for us." (Bed Pillows!!!) Ours of course was inflatable! One holiday when it was our turn to host the family dinner, She came with her recipe for something and all the ingredients. Asked for a bowl, a measuring cup etc. We gave her a typical pyrex 'one cup' to use and she said no I need two thirds cup. I'll just go home and get my own. She did too. Brought over a One Third cup and filled it twice. We had told her to just use the pyrex it would work. Nope, it had to be her 1/3 cup. These really are true! Love her to death but...Oh my!!!

  21. I love the show too and the writing in the last show was superb IMHO. I sit at my computer while I am watching and it keeps my hands from stuffing my face. Can't eat and type at the same time.
  22. Congratulations on that NSV! I had an NSV recently. I bought a size 16 skort and shirt to match in a smaller size. I bought it for when I got small enough to wear it. Well, I tried and it fit, what a surprise! I feel all my jeans (elastic waisted) are bagging on me and I can pull them way up on my belly and the legs are generously baggy too. I wear them anyway so I don't go buy too many things that I can wear a short time only before moving down again. Keep it up whatever you are doing!
  23. Your arms are hanging straighter (closer) to your sides and the neck and shoulders are getting better.. Great...A better bra would do wonders Hang em higher..IMHO!
  24. Get rid of the Bi-otch! Sabotage is not fair anyway.
  25. 58 and I am also feeling younger every day. It is so amazing! I started above 200 lbs and am now at 165 lbs. Surgery was Feb. 24, 2006. Things are going very well. I have had 3 fills with little effect. But the weight is falling slowly. I really don't feel restriction. I have 10cc band and it only has 2.6 cc in. I highly recommend the band to anyone.
