  1. Hi Bob- I know you're in the hospital right now but wanted to let you know I got out yesterday. The surgery went fine and I'm doing great and hope you are too! I feel really good-just a little gassy but tolerating my liquids and yogurt well. I'm a little sore at my port site but not anywhere else at all-I was anticipating much worse I must admit. I hope to get to tal with you this weekend so I'll know you're ok. Please write when you can and God bless ya-you're in my prayers!! Lisa
  2. Best of luck to you too-we can do this thing!!
  3. Yep- I'm a little nervous but so ready to have my life back! The nutrition counseling was a GREAT idea and losing 58 pounds is wonderful! Good for you!! My doctor said any weight lost makes it a lot easier on the patient and the doctor. I've been on a liquid diet getting ready for the surgery-my doc said he wanted me to get my body kind of ready for the diet. It hasn't been as bad as I thought. I wish you all the luck on Wednesday and I'll be thinking about you and saying a prayer for you. Keep in touch and I'm glad you wrote-it will be nice to go through this with someone. Thanks very much. Lisa
  4. Hi- I'm interested in keeping in touch with someone who is going to go through this also. Would anyone be interested in sharing the experience? Thanks verymuch.
  5. Hi Bobbi-thanks so much! I started out so excited but I'm getting kind of scared now. It can't be worse than being fat and uncomfortable though. I really appreciate the words of encouragement and I hope you continue to do great! I'll let you know how this goes. Thanks so much for your response-it really helps! Lisa
  6. It's great to hear that you're doing so well-I'm going for my band on Monday. Excited and scared at the same time!
  7. I'm new here-just checking in-surgery is scheduled for 11-19.
  8. Hi - banding is scheduled for 11-19 and I'm a little anxiety-ridden. I would love to be able to talk with someone while I go through this. I'm in ainesville-anybody else out there?
