    June 2015 sleevers

Can you believe it's been 6 months?! Is anyone else a little scared that this is when they say the weightloss really slows down...? I've been doing really well on my food, despite the holidays, but I suck at getting to the gym. Guess what my resolution is! Yep! More gym time in 2016

Tall Women, Tell Me Your Story!

I am 5'9", 35 years old. SW was 291. CW is 248 at 8 weeks post op. I weighed 145 in High School... Wondering if that is just too low now. My dr said 175 would be a good goal weight. But I think I'll just have to find out and see. I have to remember that the number doesn't matter. It's how I feel and if I like the way I look. I'm so inspired by the rest of the "tall girl" stories. Gosh, I hope I can get to my goal!

    Hi June Sleevers!

Hi everyone! I had the sleeve June 17, 2015 so I'm 8 weeks today. I weighed 291 when i started my preop then lost down to 269 on the day of surgery and now I'm down to 249. I get discouraged at times with that evil voice in the back of my head saying, "This surgery isn't going to work for you!" and "You are going to fail at this like you have will all the other diets." Ugh! My loss seems slow but I gotta keep perspective and keep doing what I'm doing. I'm eating about 600-700 calories a day, about 65-80 grams of protein a day and staying around 25 grams of only healthy carbs. I am exercising 3 times a week. I need to up that to 5 days a week though! Does it seem like I'm doing everything right?
  4. Avocado would be an even better choice!
