  1. I was "sleeved" on 11/10. I am just over a week out and I am feeling a bit frustrated. I lost a couple of pounds the first few days after surgery but since then NOTHING. I don't understand. I'm eating around 50-60 grams of Protein a day, drinking Water, and eating some broth or sugar free Jello once a day or so. I get the "full" feeling and I stop. I have been walking everyday and finally have some of my energy back. I am having major fears about this "working" for me. I am obviously "eating" so much less then I ever did before and ... nothing. Why wouldn't I lose? I've read on stalls - but this soon out? I just don't get it. Anyone have advice? I don't know what more I can do - other then live at the gym. Ugg...
  2. Thanks SBovee! I don't feel like I can give up. I mean I can't eat like I did before. My doctor keeps us on a liquid diet for 5 weeks after surgery. Seems a lot longer then most. I am "lucky" in that I have a husband who was "sleeved" in May. But I watched his weight literally fall off over night. I have a lot less to lose but he has been so successful. I feel like I put myself through a lot to lose 14 pounds (including pre-op) and then stop. I know it's only been a week - but it's challenging not to be frustrated!
  3. I am 5 days post - op and have felt this exact same way. I "feel" hungry and want so badly to just eat food. My doctor has his patients do a full liquid diet for 5 weeks after surgery. I cannot fathom how I am going to not "eat" for that long. I feel alone and have so many regrets. The sad part is I live with someone who went through this surgery and is doing GREAT. So you would think I could push through the mental stuff. But it is killing me right now. I miss food and cannot wait to feel normal again. Whatever "normal" is anyway. I see my husband and know that it will get better. I just have to convince myself of that fact!
