Hello everyone! My name is Sharon. I'm 44 years old and I live in the suberbs of Des Moines, Iowa. I started this process in September and I just got my surgery date of Dec 30th!!! Yay!
I'm going to the Mercy Weight Loss and Nutrition Center in Clive, Iowa. My surgeon is Dr. Mark Smolik- who is WONDERFUL btw.
Besides being a bariatric patient, I am a Mom and StepMom to 7 great kids. I have a wonderful,supportive husband. I am a HUGE animal lover and I'm a FT college student.
