  2. Congrats Jess and Mandy!!! Great job ladies!!! Ya'll all did a great job!!!!
  3. I drink 8 oz when i wake up first thing and then 8 more before I go to bed. I drink 8 more on my way to work and another 8 on my way home. That just leaves me 4 more to get through between the hours of 7:30 and 4p...and usually I have no problem with that. I line up 4 8 oz glasses at my desk..in a discreet location so my co workers won't catch on too fast of how looney I am and I finish them with relative ease. but I usally only eat 3 times a day with maybe one snack in the afternoon.
  4. Yes, I found it interesting, but nothing that I could really use. I agree with Vines, The statement "Intuitive eaters only eat when they're hungry and stop when they're full.", was the kicker for me. If I could eat that way..I wouldn't be in this shape today.
  5. Way to go MARGO! Keep up that awesome work!
  6. JaLynn, I got my 2nd fill on the 22nd as well. I didn't feel any restriction at all until this past Saturday. I had already made an appointment for another fill on the 20th of Dec. I have also been doing the Southbeach diet since Wednesday of last week and I managed to lose 3.5 pounds. Prior to that, I had not lost anything after my fill. I have a 10cc band with 4.4 in it. Since everybody is different with their restriction..it is hard to judge. I have to practice carb and calorie counting...I just don't do well enough just winging it and letting my band handle it...at least not yet.
  7. Thanks Kathy, I will post one tonight. I wanted to post one with him and his special 3 year old cake.

  16. Oh Congratulations!!!! A new baby how wonderful!
  17. There have been alot of banders who have done that very thing. But the guidelines set forth by your dr is so your tummy and band have time to heal. So you might want to follow what ever your guidelines are. The first weeks are hard, but you get through them one day at a time.
  18. I had the same issue...the fill dr thought for one second that I had shingles, but it was just a little unexplained rash that finally went away...took about 2 or 3 weeks to do so. Right up under my left one.
