I agree, raise your hand if you think Wynona would have benifited from the lapband...she didn't even really talk about what she was doing to do it on her on or even if she was being successful at it. Didn't even mention Ann Wilson, although I can't pull up Ann's blog anymore or Spotlight Health for that matter....hummmm.

Did anybody catch the report on 20/20 tonight about the Gastric Pace Maker??? Sounded pretty interesting, it goes to the FDA for approval early next year. The entire program was about different ways people have lost weight. Lapband was not even in the program. Too sad, just another choice that someone may never find out about.... Are you making sure that you are getting your protein in? If you are doing that and getting your water in, you are going to be fine and remember...it doesn't last.

I am with you Pam. First thing this morning, I made pancakes and bacon for my family. My very first bite, made it feel like a knife was sticking in my chest....stayed there for about a half hour. horrible!!!

My cousin had RNY, she got pregnant after the first year, she did have problems that kept her under close supervision, but she had a healthy baby girl.

We have a Boxer named Casey, who thinks he is our other son, 3 cats named Puddy, Urtha(my hubby has a crush on the Urtha Kitt), and Magic and last but not least, we have two aquatic turtles whom I just call the turtleboys. Here is a picture of spoiled boy, Casey.

I tell everybody who ask how I am losing weight. Just Thursday a lady came to my desk and said that she had heard that I had the band done. She is going to start the whole process in the new year and wanted to know if I would answer her questions about it. I was happy to do so. Anybody I can help along the way I will. I don't really have the problem of people watching every bite I put in my mouth. I eat at my desk most of the time and am usually in my own little world.

LOL...Kim...I believe you. I think I have an entire routine made up in my head to Collective Soul's Better Now and Rob Thomas's This is How a Heart Breaks...lol. It takes you over. :-)
