  1. Still have a little bit of pain. It's been a month and I was in a stall already but I seemed to finally lose a couple of lbs when I got on the scale today
  2. That's great! Yes, it is exciting! How is the 2 day liquid diet going? Do you feel hunrgry at all? What are you doing for liquids protein powder shakes?
  3. Hi Bobby, I had my surgery on January 23rd also. I feel the same way, my weight loss seems to be going too slow. Seems like you lost a lot real fast in the beginning and then it slowed way down. In the beginning you might have been losing alot of Water. They fill you up with alot of IV fluids when your in the hospital. I eat very little also. From what I understand that can put you in the starvation mode and it slows down your weight loss. 38 lbs is alot in a month though so that's probably why it's slowing down now. Am sure you will get back on track though. My doctor tells me not to weigh myself every day and that I should only weigh myself more like once a week. Checking your weight every day seems to make you more anxious. It's nice to talk to someone who had the surgery on the same day though. Feel free to write me anytime.
  4. Hello, I had my RNY Gastric Bypass surgery not long ago. I'm 4 weeks post op and would love to find a buddy or buddies to chat with. I live in and had my surgery in Connecticut. I'm on myfitnesspal.com.

    Just curious

Same here I had gallstones, so I had my gallbladder removed a few months before my RNY surgery. Not crazy about the scars but hopefully in time they will be less noticeable
  6. My weight loss is going a lot slower that I had hope it would. I guess I just had it in my head that the weight would just drop off real fast. I guess I should stop weighing myself every single day also.
  7. My weight loss is going slow than I was hoping for. I guess I should try not to weigh myself every day, that might help
  8. Are you on pureed foods now? I have to eat pureed food real slow or it still hurts when it goes down. I've adding the Yoplait 100 calorie greek yogurt to my Protein shakes. I like the Quest Protein Bars also.

Finally had my surgery Jan 23. My stomach hurts if I eat. Just drinking Protein shakes and taking liquid Multivitamins and minerals so far
  15. It feels like something is stuck in my stomach whatever I eat or drink. Does this go away eventually or will it always feel this way after surgery? I'm also tired all the time. Food doesn't taste as good either for some reason. From what I read all this seems normal, but it still bothers me.
