@@Dischord sorry to hear your are a bit queasy. did you get something for it? I had surgery the following day and I was wondering how u were doing.

Wendy's grilled sandwich, no bread. I cut it up into the side salad with fat free dressing.

I haven't felt that way too much. I have heard my stomach growl. I am not taking prevacid unless I feel heartburn, which I haven't felt yet. the worst for me was the thirst waiting for my leak test Thursday a week ago. I would've licked the condensation off the window if I could've. that sucked....

you will both do awesome because you know it's only a tool.....

I have no regrets. I was scared....for no reason. I haven't ever had surgery before.

BCBS federal employees submitted date to approval two weeks.

@@soon2bsleevedQT I was sleeved last Wed the 6th. no issues so far other than getting my fluids in. no nausea or heartburn. listen and do as the doctors tell you.

I was sleeved at 8am Wednesday and left Thursday night. I had a reaction different than @@makemyownluck mine sped up. they ran multiple tests to be sure there were not clots.

@@jackiemc1987 I am thinking forcing yourself to eat wouldn't be right either - I don't know. Maybe you should post on another forum here like the veterans

@ JustBeth13 have you heard anything since your last post? I am going into surgery tomorrow.

that's a scary thought - never heard that one. Hopefully someone will be able to answer that. I can ask the surgeon RIGHT before I go into surgery :[

it must be in the air, I couldn't sleep last night either....surgery should be over by tomorrow at this time. I am excited and scared too!

do you have any other comorbidities like pre-diabetic, high blood pressure, sleep apnea? I don't have Aetna but I will keep the candles lit here for you in Florida!

Congrats! I should hopefully be out of surgery tomorrow at this time and I hope to feel the same way

@@Dischord - I wish I had that option. My surgery is the 6th so I hope you let us know how you did in surgery asap so I can see before I go the next day. Are you nervous?

I spent 12 years with a jealous man who was not faithful, verbally abusive and would punch walls or throw things. The father of my only two kids and I had to get my children and walk...took me learning the hard way but I did it. My parents were alcoholics that fought and beat the crap out of each other. I am thankful to have survived that and then I married one! At 29 I realized that I had two young kids to raise and I didn't want them to think people lived like I had with my parents. My children never saw what their Dad did to me but the holes in the walls was proof. It was scary to leave but liberating at the same time. This is a decision SHE has to make on her own or she will go back (or work thinks out) every time until SHE is ready unfortunately.

I think it varies between doctors and probably the general health of the patient. If a patient only has smaller amount to lose, it seems, they aren't given as strict of a diet (or none). Some only do the liquid diet the day before. I have a two week limited and a liquid one for tomorrow.

I am craving it like I am pregnant. I love PB and I have really missed yogurt & fruit the last 12 days - pre-op diet bites ;/ just sayin' Anybody else out there struggling with one particular food on the pre-op????

I caved because I crave peanut butter and I am supposed to be on a pre-op diet. Why is the doc wanting no fruit or yogurt (even FF) I would gladly swap out for that. Tomorrow is the all liquid day and surgery at 7am on the 6th...

I am on the downhill slide (surgery Wednesday the 6th) and it has been a hit and a miss. Sucks because I had envisioned doing it inside my new house but instead I am in an RV out back waiting for my house to be completed - stressing. I am in it to win - so I have been being as diligent as I can :/

I was a stalker, then fell out of the program for about a month, and rejoined. I am scheduled for surgery Wednesday and I am excited and scared. It is a life changing decision (for the best) but scary still. I have never had surgery and I won't this to be my only time. I did have wisdom teeth removed and a cyst of my index finger removed where I was knocked out but this is invasive, and it makes me think about it. Good luck~

did anyone else get constipated on the pre op diet? I have been taking flaxseed and had to stop last week and everything else stopped too. I feel bloated and surgery is Wednesday.
