@@AvaFern ROTFLMAO....resting b¡tch face! I am not a smiley type person and that is a great description. People think I am mad when because I don't smile all the time I feel like Forrest Gump if I try to fake smile all day, just not me. Life is like a box of chocolates.
  2. @@Elode thanks for sharing all of the info and pics. I wouldn't want implants either just a lift. IMHO I think you will be very happy with the girls you have now. As thin as you are now I don't know if you want them quite as big as you originally wanted. you have had big boobs for a long time, like me, and I think about fitting into clothes. I think a full C even a small D for you would give you the look you want and will be happy with and no implants to deal with! your results are amazing! how much skin did they remove, if you don't mind me asking.
  3. @@jintycb beautiful pictures. thanks for sharing!!!!!
  4. @@taxudown - I didn't like the idea of a permanent band in my body or part of my stomach unattached in my body. Having most of my stomach removed seemed logical. It still functions pretty much the same just can't eat as much. I have NO regrets.
  5. @@jessicashae33 great job! where's the pic?
  6. @@_bribri1001 WELCOME! congrats on starting your new journey!
  7. @@breezy25 I was told to add about 1/2 cap of Miralax to my diet. I do that periodically if it seems that I am not going enough. I am 11 months post and the iron supplements really made me constipated. so I was told to stop the supplement. I get iron twice daily with my multi vitamins.
  8. @@lehnuh - I agree with the OP. focus on the hour and do what you can. stay hydrated...sip sip sip. if u can get Protein in liquid form, great. hydration, moving and trying to get some protein in the first week or so was what I was told to focus on.
  9. @@SillyOleMe hello from Florida!
  10. I still lost hair and I have 95% of the time exceeded my Protein requirements. IMHO it's a crap shoot, the hair loss.
  11. liquid tends to flow through. that's why we are supposed to not drink right after we eat. when you eat food, do you feel full? example: 2-3 oz of chicken?
  12. @@msjg46 that's awesome! on to the next mini goal >>>>>>
  13. @@anitavee - keep phrase is to "sip" walk, walk, walk sip, sip, sip chew, chew, chew get in Protein if you can, spoonful at a time of greek yogurt. don't try to eat too much - less is best right now, because one extra bite can be uncomfortable. keep posting and welcome to the 'other side' !
  14. @@mizzzzzzT - what did the doctors office suggest?
  15. @@Sandra McConnell - after losing about 25 lbs my BP dropped very low so the dose was cut in half. As the OP dehydration can also cause headaches, fuzzy headiness, sleepiness...get checked out. I am hoping to be completely off the BP meds soon.
  16. @@Elode - you look great and even better, you SOUND very HaPpY!
  17. @@jessicashae33 - you are tiny!
  18. @@tfarr - I never got anywhere with them, just phone calls from them asking if I wanted to try a new flavor about every 6-8 days for about 6 weeks. I finally told them just remove me off your list. they wouldn't even tell me if I qualified. Too much BS.
  19. @@Inner Surfer Girl - I add Protein powder to yogurt (1/2 scoop is generally 13-15grams of protein and about 60 calories to a 13 gram protein and 80 calorie yogurt works out pretty good for about a 1/2c of food. I have add the flavored French vanilla to plain oatmeal and SF hot cocoa, and the chocolate to coffee. I did add some French vanilla to gingerbread I made about 2 months ago, no one noticed Where did you get the protein pudding? I tried some from GNC (ick).
  20. depending on the density I can eat around a half a cup. sometimes more sometimes less.
  21. @@Andrea72 "outsider"? k. I am done
  22. @@crazygoose - So glad you are doing well - You 'got this' - keep walking keep us posted How are you getting home. I am also in Florida or I would offer to help.... Maybe we should put ourselves out there in our local area - for other "pre-ops" dealing with ride drama - If you are in Jacksonville area - I can POSSIBLY help with a pre-op or post-op ride, if given notice... I work M-F so I need some notice!
  23. @@jmdow1 - I have the same requirements, a minimum of 40lb lift. I stayed out 12 calendar days. I was bored to tears. I did have a weight restriction of no more than 15 lbs for a about another 2-3 weeks. If you go back, just be careful. I didn't think and snatched up a heavy item and felt it, and it scared me. Fortunately I did no harm, but its hard when you a use to doing a physical job and you can't.
  24. I have always had football player legs so I haven't notice my calves getting "thinner" but I have notice my thighs!
  25. @@Renee1973 & @@heidiboo you both are experiencing a major shift in your body. Hormones being released, post surgery "stuff" and on top of that a reduction of calories. Stay hydrated, try to get in the Protein, keep moving...redundant, I know. If you were on BP meds watch your BP, it may be too low. Mine dropped about 3 weeks post and it made me feel like sleeping allllldddaaayyyyyyyy. I didn't realize that about a 20-25 weight loss would have that kind of effect but it did. it will get better - welcome to the 'other side'
