  1. My husband and I had our surgeries exactly one week apart and we both were fine. We wanted to do everything together and I'm so glad we didn't allow too much time in between because now we're both healthy and feeling great!! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  2. I'm not sure if my esophagus got smaller or not I just know I don't easily swallow foods like I did prior to surgery.... Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  3. I had my sleeve done in 3/23 and I'm still having problems with swallowing soft foods. It's as if it just sits, my surgeon had me come in for an endoscopy where he inserted something like a balloon to stretch my esophagus. It worked a lil but not much. Anyone else had this issue? This is the only setback I'm having since my surgery and it's frustrating! I'm on 2 medications for it as well and nothing seems to be helping...... Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  7. I just take a gummy Multivitamin everyday. I purchased mine from Walmart. My surgeon said it just needed to be a multivitamin didn't specify what brand but when I told him it's a gummie womens Vitamin he said that was fine. That's ridiculous to have to pay that much for Vitamins. BTW I was sleeved on 3/23 and I'm doing great and have lost 30 pounds. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  8. Wow thanks for these replies everyone it really helps. So I guess I have to get use to eating differently now. And that's ok with me! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  11. I was the same way and it still hurts but not as much now. I was sleeved on 3/23, it will get better with time but to be honest with you the more I walked the better I felt. I'm not sure why you're not able to lie down without being in pain sounds like this maybe something else. I really wish you the best, it will get better I was the same way trust me but with a lil walking everyday made it so much better. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  12. I'm on my soft foods now for 4 weeks but nothing tastes the same. What happened to my taste buds? Any suggestions? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  13. I was sleeved on 3/23 so I'm on soft foods now. This morning I ate a yogurt but I still felt hunger pains. Shouldn't I be full after eating that? I'm also very tired all the time absolutely no energy at all. This has to get better! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  16. I only told my husband and my BFF my children and parents don't even know. As far as work I told my coworkers I was going out to have hernia repair in which I really did along with my WLS. Leading up to my surgery I would get on my social network sites and show pics of me working out, so no one will even suspect I've had this surgery. I've pretty much told everyone I've cut back on carbs and sodas.... They have no reason to not believe me. Good luck to everyone I'm 12 days out post op and I feel great I've lost about 30 pounds in just that period of time. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
