I was sleeved on Tuesday 12-16. 5 days out today and feeling fabulous. I have all band aids off and no pain. Still very slow going but everyday going good. Merry Christmas to our wonderful group. I absolutely agree with Queen of the crop. My decision was easy. I knew I didn't the lap band. Didn't like the idea of fills and possible problems with foreign object. I also thought removing part of my stomach seemed less scary for me then re routing my intestines. Some may not understand that but it's just how I felt. Also more freedom of food choices for the future me. Good luck I'm sure you'll decide with your dr what's best for you!

Hi everyone. I finally broke down and hit my morphine button. Feeling pretty good add long as I don't move around much. When I do I feel a gas bubble. Not sure if they'll get me up tonight or not. I'm just laying here relaxing and getting leg massages from my booties. I'm also feeling hungry. Can't wait for liquids tomorrow.

Chris I know it's hard I'm on day 8 and 6 to go before surgery. I didn't have the headache. I didn't sleep well first few nights. It's the toughest thing for us all. It prepares you though for self control later. You gut this hun. Hugs!

I'm December 16th too. Today was 6 days of prediet liquids only. Today was hungrier then I've been but stuck to my plan. Can't wait for 16th.

December 15th! Almost there. Going to give it 100% on my preop diet(cheated a little last week) and my goal is to exercise daily. This preop stuff is difficult. Post op is going to be difficult as well. Hang in there guys! Soon you will be bagging up your fat clothes FOREVER!

Chic80 I agree I've still been cooking but think it's making it a bit harder. May need to try letting hubby get his own he keeps asking. I keep thinking it's not a problem. But today I was hungry and I don't want to go wrong.

Well mine a bit different I got surgery date 2 days after my Birthday so that was my birthday???? now my surgery is my best and early ????CHRISTmas ????

Now I'm trying to get all my CHRISTmas stuff done so my hubby doesn't have so much to do. We've decided to Celebrate with my grand babies on the 13th before my 16th surgery date to make sure I can totally enjoy it. Then traditionally I make dinner on Christmas around 4ish so my kids don't have to make dinner yet it gives my Grandkids time to enjoy their toys at home. My hubby said he'd prepare the meal. This will be awesome to sit back and watch. Lol. Loving my life!!!!!
