@@Leesa definitely get a second opinion. I adore Dr. Herrera. He will answer any and all questions you have, and will let you make the final decision without pressuring you one way or the other. He's definitely worth talking to.

@@Karlnjax I used North Florida Bariatric, my Advocate was Amber. After insurance approval the Surgeon's office schedules the surgery day. They were ready to schedule. The first available appointment was three weeks out, which isn't bad.

@@Karlnjax I am having Gastric bypass. I looked into the the sleeve, but my Insurance wouldn't cover it . I have to start my two week pre op diet next weekend.

I am in the Fleming Island area as well, and scheduled to have surgery July 28th with Dr. Herrera at St. Vincent's Riverside.
