I am assuming you had the surgery in order to change your lifestyle like many of the rest of us. Our own ways of eating is what led us to having surgery in the first place. This early postop I would certainly never encourage bacon OR pizza. These are both also no no foods on most surgeons post operative plans for the long term. I understand everything in moderation, but it truly makes me shake my head wondering why people would even have the surgery if they're going to just continue to eat the same high calorie foods. I am only about nine days post op and I'm struggling with the same issues you are. But I refuse to partake in contributing to any complications that could arise because of my own gross negligence. Just my two cents...

I'm post op all I want it Water. 2 ounces fill me. I'm not even thinking of reg food. The thought of it actually scares me. I'm 5 days post op

I did 14 laps at the hospital yesterday and today I'm home and walking laps. I was finally able to drink 1 ounce! ! But now my left arm is warm and is hurting

Thank you so much for your support. I think I'm going to really push for the at home study. My surgeon is requiring it. I don't think I actually need it for insurance since my bmi is at 44. I know I have sleep apnea as when I was in the hospital they had me sleep with oxygen because I would stop breathing

I'm exactly 5ft, I'm getting my sleeve nov 18. I've completed everything. Start my pre op diet Tuesday and waiting on insurance approval!!! I currently weigh 240. Would love to get back down to 120!
