My surgery is scheduled for December 16th, and my two week pre op diet starts on the third.... Getting nervous.

I bought some Atkins shakes and some Boost shakes but have yet to try either of them. These are the Protein supplements that my deitician recommended: Optifast Carnation Instant Breakfast Atkin's Advantage Slim Fast High Protein Muscle Milk Light AdvantEDGE Carb Control EAS 100% whey Protein Optisource Have you tried any of these?

I so hope that food loses some of it's appeal to me too.

I received my surgery date today, and I'm scared..... excited..... scared..... excited. Eek!!! :-) My surgery date is December 16, and I begin my Pre Op diet on Tuesday. Anybody else sharing my date? Female, 47 yr old, 33.8 BMI, 204 lbs, 5'5".

Hi there! I'm new to the list and recently decided that the sleeve was the best option for me. My BMI is around 34, but I have other factors (heart attack at age 34 and continued high cholesterol & blood pressure). I was approved for the sleeve gastronomy but my insurance will not pay at all (I have Blue Cross).
