  1. Over worked my stomach a little yesterday. Even without a fill I am definitely feeling satiated a lot earlier. Gotta learn I don't always have to finish the portion!

  2. So happy to step on the scale at my Dr.'s appointment. The norm was for me to decline in the past, lol! I have been relentlessly doing my work and following the plan.

  6. Found a fabulous Ralph Lauren dress on sale yesterday to wear for dressy evenings on my vacation next month. Didn't buy it. It was labeled size 6, but it was too big for me. This feels like the Twilight Zone. Size 6. Too big!

  11. I've lost 50 pounds! Woot!

  12. 170 pounds lost from this time a year ago. 129 lost since surgery. 43 more to my personal goal, 4 more to my surgeon's goal for me. I am without speech! I am so grateful for my surgeon, the surgery, and my support system of friends and family. :-)

  13. Last week my four-year-old grandson told me that I have “mashed potato arms” and then proceeded to waggle my bat wing. At the time I didn’t react, but I guess it really bothered me since I’m still thinking about it. This loose skin is a scourge.

  14. Feeling excited! Homemade chicken tortilla soup sans tortillas today. Smells absolutely delicious!

  22. I can't believe how happy Someone can be just because they can finally fart and burp Lol. Those are two magical words that help get rid of soooo much pain,

  23. Its so weird to put on clothes that I used to wear that were SO tight.. and now.. they are way too big..

  24. Have had a really rough couple of days. Developed a tooth abscess that is currently making me miserable. The antibiotics and pain medications have made me incredibly nauseous. All of this and I have surgery on Monday. My surgeon is aware I need a root canal and that I am on abx, and he said he is going to call me on Monday to see how I feel, but I am so worried that this is going to get worse and the surgery will need to be post poned. I can't change this date I already jumped through hoops to get the time off I needed. According to the surgeons assistant it shouldn't be canceled unless I run a fever, which I haven't, but my stress level is through the roof. All of this and it is my turn to be nurse coordinator all weekend for an entire psychiatric hospital. This is going to be a trying 4 days.

  25. Creeping, creeping, creeping toward Onederland......an average of a quarter pound per week.......so slow.....working on patience....will eventually get there and to my goal. Just wish it was more like a half pound a week average.
