  14. The Jello helps coat the pills as they go down . I just take a bite of jello to wet my throat and then With the next spoonful l add one of my pills to it and swallow it with the Jello. pills aren't stuck no more . @@OutsideMatchInside

  17. Being post up now I'm starting to finally feel better , the gases are passing and so is the pain from it. Taking meds has been a real challenge , every thing seems to get stuck. The nurses gave me the tip of using Jello for them to slide easier and it sure Helps. Walking, Walking and more walking helps So much too. I'm having a really hard time with my Protein intak. I can Only Sip about 4 drinks from my Protein Shake before I feel "nautious". Hopefully that will get better over the next few days. For anyone who has Problems with Protein Drinks the taste and after taste of them was my biggest Concern until I was told about unjury ' My NUT gave me a few samples to try and I was shocked how good it really tasted | especially the chicken Soup one. Good luck to All who are having Surgery real soon take your time to , recover and don't rush ,all your going to do is hurt yourself in the process, Ice chips will be your best friend that first day to day and a half. Speedy recovery to everyone here and thanks for the support here.

  20. l'm So hesitant to try the chicken broth one .
  21. 10 more days yay! What are you planning to drink for liquids? I am also nervous about the liquid phase. My surgery is on the 29th.I have to do 4 protein shakes a day that I'm mixing with unsweetened almond milk, sugar free clears (popsicles, jello) sugar free gum, fat free broths, 1/2 cup non strachy veggies a day for chewing. I plan to mix them with my broth to make "soup"Good luck with your surgery! That's a great idea. Are you hungry so far? What protein powder did you end up getting? I like the synthrax nectar fuzzy navel. I am looking for an unflavored one for soups or jello. Good luck with your surgery too. I may check back in w u post op to see how it went? (If that's ok). I have like no pain tolerance and am quite scared. I've had a c section before wonder if it hurts more, less, or the same with this? I've had three C-sections and my last one was hard to recover from so I am anxious to go into surgery on Tuesday. I'm praying it will be less painful for sure.

  29. that's great congratulations looks like lots of us are going in on July 7th and beginning our journey together
  30. Hi l'm from Ohio and after 18 mths of hard work I got approved and finally scheduled for the 7th of July! So exciting to finally get to make this change hopefully forever with this tool.
  31. Thanks for the tips everyone, so far I do not have to do a pre diet except for the day before surgery. Not sure why mine is different by I will have to ask tomorrow about that at my final pre appointment for all my testing. Getting close now. I've already stocked up on Protein powder I like and know I will be able to handle. Not to many that I can so that was really lucky that I found one that tasted good.
  32. I finally got approved after finally battling for over a year to get approved. Had to go through 12 months of Supervised diet, then an additional 5 months before they approved me. But I finally got my date for July 7th and I can't wait to get my new life started. I have thought about doing a cleanse before I under go the surgery though, has anyone else done that and what type of cleanse if they have? I'm also really struggling with not wanting to eat everything under the sun that I might possibly not get after the surgery. I am proud that I was able to finally quit drinking pop and am strictly on Water infused with fruits and herbs so that I don't have to struggle with that after the surgery. One withdrawal symptom done and over with. Need to get some before pictures done yet so I have them for myself. Can't wait to finally feel good and proud of myself again. No one can take this from me anymore but myself now!!
