  1. 2 weeks. Once I hit soft/purée foods, mine was combined.
  2. It will depend on the time frame they want the test done in to be valid. I'm not sure why you would even need a colonoscopy? I didn't have to do any of those test. Your right he will be able to tell you for sure, good luck!
  3. @@rnsamantha I was doing that quit a bit, I went practically vegetarian for awhile but drank my protein shakes to keep protein count high. Meat is hit or miss with me too. I think chicken is the worst, and I'm a notorious fast eater, doomed! I'm not really sure what you could do since I'm In the same boat but do vegetarian for awhile....
  4. Side note: That hike almost killed me! I'm a walking miracle! Ha!!
  5. @@Woodland4807 Sure, I do that now and I'm 8+ months! Hearts still going!!
  6. @@Julie norton Xoxo! @@SuzeMuze <3 thank you!
  7. @@jane13 Yes! Out with the old in with the new!
  8. Sending you good vibes! Be excited! Congrats!
  9. Coffee is acidic so it could be contributing to the problem. Go a couple days w/o it and see.
  10. You will be fine but no more girl!!!
  11. Yay!!! Super exciting! Congrats!
  12. A ton of willpower and a naked picture of myself for when I felt like I just had to eat! Laugh but it worked!
  13. @@JamieLogical Lol people are ridiculous!
  14. One of the main reasons why you can't wear a bra besides it being in the way is because a lot of bras have metal in them, if God forbid something were to happen where you were to need a defibrillator used to restart your heart you would NOT want any metal on your body while being shocked. You would get fried. Trust me nobody is going to give a second thought to what you look like, we healthcare professionals see so much on a daily basis it's not even worth mentioning, unless you come in the ER with a foreign object shoved up your butt....we will laugh at you behind your back and then keep it moving good luck on your surgery!!!
  15. That's crap! You can/ and probably will feel hunger. I didn't for the first 6 months but I do now.
  16. Yay! Congratulations! It's exciting!
  17. I was drinking regularly by the first week. Not huge gulps but more that a medicine cup. Drinking water is vital so don't worry about it.
  18. A favorite shake, liquids, I did isopure (ready-made) and coconut water. Regular water was too hard. A nice comfy chair with a table to set everything up within reach was a blessing!
  19. Your allowed to live a little. Keep it in Perspective.
  20. @@betrthnever My husband loves me no matter what, so he says but I'm pretty sure he likes this skinnier me better. I lost weight on my own back in the day and my ex preferred bigger women and told me I " looked sick" and he wasn't as attracted to me.......soooooo I told Felicia bye, which is why he is now referred to as my ex. See how that works! So technically I dropped that 60 lbs plus 170lbs of ass! Not too shabby!
  21. Well I wish it was true that I could never eat a doughnut again after surgery but not so much, tell that to the half of one I ate on my Vacation in Colorado last week . You will be able to eat them again you just may not want to. Enjoy!
  22. No it's normal, I hurt more on day 3 than any. I got a stronger pain pill prescribed and by day 7 I was ok. Everyone's different but mine defiantly wasn't pain free, it hurt!
  23. I was in pretty good pain on day 3 so I called my surgeon and had them up my pain pill to a stronger one. After that I was good. I can't tell you about the other Things I was on liquids for a week after, I didn't eat any of that stuff.
