  10. Oh, and I know it's hard to see but those are tall boots! Just because I can finally zip them. I don't want to take them off.
  11. Thank you guys so much!
  12. I would just like to share my newest NSV. I wore this dress to my best friends wedding last night. It may not seem like a big deal to some of you but I haven't worn a dress since I was 12. I wore it and I liked it!! I will be adding more to my wardrobe I blocked out the others for privacy. It was pretty exciting for me. At 267lbs I didn't look good in anything form fitting. It was a special night all around. It's the little things that mean so much! Update: Picture of the back of it for the ladies interested in it.
  13. @ Stay strong!!! I know it's not easy, but the pay off is worth it!! I did a month of clear liquids all together. Before surgery was much harder than the two weeks after but I survived and so will you!
  14. @@glitter eyes I want to zippline! I went to Colorado this summer and did some white water rafting for the first time as a reward. I wanted to zippline but we ran out of time, let me know how it goes. You can keep that Ferris wheel though, they freak me out!
  15. @@_Kate_ I would go back to what you were using until you see him/her.
  16. @@lark60 Unfortunately a deep wound is going to heal from the inside out so It takes longer. Hang in there!!
  17. @@Geron Girls That's so funny that it's such a big deal for all of us! Congratulations! That zipper sound is amazing!!
  18. @@dhrguru lol! No it's ok. I'm still naive so the pictures I've seen look fun! I'm not sure if I can do the haunted house without pissing on myself and that would be pretty embarrassing.....for the kids
  19. Well I can't speak on anyone's marriage, it's not my place but what I will say is my ex never noticed when I lost weight either until I dropped 180 lbs, that being his ass.....trust me he noticed then.
  20. @@Margie122 That was actually my first goal! I bought some that finally fit (still wide but fit) now that I can wear them they are getting loose. I wish I would have bought the regular size instead. Oh well live and learn!
  21. @@TammyDTM That's funny you should say that because I almost bought a silky purple shirt today but it was sleeveless and I was afraid it would be too big by the time I could actually wear it. I love the color purple too!
  22. @@con con Ursodiol is used to dissolve certain types of gallstones, to prevent gallstones from forming in obese patients who are losing weight rapidly. Your surgeon would have to find it necessary for you to take it. It's usually taken twice a day for patients having rapid weight loss and can be taken for months or even years. If you eat a diet low in fat it will help if your just worried about developing them. The gallbladder is simply storage for the bile that the liver makes to emulsify fat once it hits the small intestine. If you eat healthy fats such as salmon with Omega-3 fatty acids, veggies, fruits, nuts, and stay away from (limit) saturated fats like red meats, butters and carb rich foods you can help to prevent gallstones. Fish oil is also beneficial to help the gallbladder empty, especially if you have higher triglyceride levels. There you go! More than you asked for! Ha!!
  23. We are finally getting the cold fall weather here in Missouri. I've waited years to wear boots that would zip around my larger calves and now that I can I've been sporting them proudly. I've been shopping for all fall clothes and it's just amazing how different the experience has been from last fall. Last fall I was wearing a size 18 (snug) and this year I'm shopping for size 8 which opens up a lot of new options I never had before. My goal is to do as may fun fall inspired activities outside with the kids that I can. Thing I never did with them like apple picking, hay rides, corn mazes, visiting the pumpkin patch, fall festivals ect... I feel alive now. I'm excited to get out and live this fall as apposed to sitting in the house being unhealthy and sluggish. I love fall! Unlike summer I can dress to cover up the parts of my body I'm not thrilled with yet and not look like a crazy loon wearing long sleeves in the middle of summer This is going to be the best fall in all of EVER! Ha! So what are you looking forward to?
