  1. Drink some coconut water, it's a super hydrator. As far as protein you could try a ISO-pure ready made drink if you can find them. I got mine at the GNC they have a ton of protein in them. The only one I liked was the apple melon and it has to be COLD!
  2. @@Hello new me fish! Fish is healthy and soft on the stomach. Most restaurants have some kind of fish. Hopefully you like fish because if you don't this was a big fat waste of your time
  3. @@joatsaint Carbohydrates are made up of: 1) Complex Carbohydrates, 2) Simple sugars (or sugar), and 3) Dietary fiber , sometimes separated into soluble and insoluble on the label. United States Federal Law requires that companies state on the nutrition facts label the total grams of carbohydrates, dietary fiber, and sugars. This makes listing the content of complex carbohydrates as optional, which in most cases, will make up for the difference between total carbohydrate, and the sum of dietary fiber and sugars. I hope that helps to answer your question.
  4. I've always subtracts out fiber and sugar alcohols. The human body doesn't have the enzyme to break down fiber that's derived from plants, including fruits, vegetables and grains. Because your body cannot digest fiber, it does not provide calories for energy or nutrients for cells. I try to stick to foods that are low on the glycemic index. @@BaileyBariatrics are you a RD?
  5. I don't know if I had any because I rarely weighed so I always lost when I did BUT I'd say now that it lost 107 lbs and am close to goal I think I've been sitting at numbers longer.
  6. I'm a bit of a over packer but I took soft comfy PJs, a robe, slippers, Chapstick, gas x strips, biotene mouth spray and lozenge, my iPad, extension cord for all my electronics so I wouldn't have to get up the first day, soft pillow, fem wipes, my own body wash and shampoo & a glade plug in for my room because I don't like the smell of hospitals so I got a apple cinnamon one. Only problem with that is all the nurses and staff wanted to hang out in my room, they would literally come sit on my bed and tell me how much they loved my delicious smelling room lol! @@monaleesa
  7. The chocolate premier protein is my staple.
  8. Oh I have a list so it wasn't just one thing. It all just kept added up till I couldn't take it anymore. I'd say just being fat in general was a burden. Highest ever was 301 but I was pregnant, not pregnant 267 which is what I weighed on day one of this journey.
  9. I only had to do 3 months with a registered dietitian.
  10. Well I don't know how late you are but it could have something to do with the fat breaking down and hormones being released. I don't have enough info so that would be a guess.
  11. @Jovie6 Oh the joys of raising teens! I needed to lose this weight just to keep up with them.

  23. It was pretty great. I can't quit make it into her jeans yet but she will share some clothes with me. Underwear was not on that list.
