Period

I havent had my period yet. Im never late. Totally not pregnant.

Well I don't know how late you are but it could have something to do with the fat breaking down and hormones being released. I don't have enough info so that would be a guess.

During periods of extreme weight loss, it is not unusual to miss a period or have other weird menstruation issues. It also happens to athletes and people with very low body weight. You can always check in with your doctor because there is a chance it could be something else, but don't freak yourself out over it.

I am 2.5 months post-op. I should have gotten my period right after surgery but it came about 5 days late, the next one was 11 days late. With all the changes your body is going through right now regular periods seem to be last on the priority list!

I missed my first period after the surgery and then when I did get it.... flood...... If you are worried - talk to you OB - mine has been so helpful during this whole process.
