Dr Supervised Diet - Nutrition Visits

Hello, I was curious if some of you are required by insurance to do both monthly Supervised Diet visits with your Primary Dr or Surgeon on top of your NUT visits?

    Hmmm.... I don't think so. I only met with my NUT. I had to get a letter from my PCP (or doctor other than surgeon) recommending me for the surgery. You might need to get your surgeon's office and/or your insurance to clarify for you. I had Cigna.

    My surgeons office is following my insurance requirements, but I had a moment of worry, you know those moments where you think "oh my goodness I hope I'm doing this right". I'm in panic mode about now since finding out my insurance

    Health Republic of New York is preparing to cease operations. This has me wondering if they will be quick to deny surgeries/procedures because their folding.
