  1. Oh and I want some cute defusers for my tea...is anyone writing this down?? Lol!
  2. Since surgery I have become a decaf tea fanatic so I never ask for anything but this year I've already informed everybody that I want a tea pot (kettle whatever) and tea! Oh and the cutest pottery travel mug I found on etsy! I don't focus on food anymore now I want homemade gifts that are special! (Even if they come from some strangers home)
  3. @@lily0327 I don't know if going back would change anything just call your surgeon and ask.
  4. @@Maggy'sMom Well it isn't from lack of chicken nuggets! My 5 year old will keep them in business so no worries!!
  5. I have the ninja chopper/purée mini machine. It works awesome, it's small, and it was only like 20 bucks at Walmart!
  6. Yep itchy= healing. As long as they don't feel warm to the touch or have any drainage, puss then you should be ok!
  7. It's going to be hard in the beginning keep at it with the water for sure! If you are getting down a whole protein drink and it only has 10grams Of protein in it then you may want to look into something with a higher protein count! My go to is premier protein (chocolate) one ready-made 11oz Shake has 30 grams of protein. You can get them at most Wal-Marts and SAMs!
  8. I use the "lose it" app. It's the only one I know how to use.@@gettinghealthymom1
  9. I started with as much protein as I could comfortably Handel and now 6 weeks later I'm still all protein rich foods. My carbs are extremely low maybe 15 a day. I don't eat anything that doesn't have protein in it ..at all.
  10. @@Shace That is aggravating! Are you suppose to give on a liquid diet for life? Congrats on your up coming surgery! Hang in there you can do it! It will all be over soon! (Well this part anyway) good luck!
  11. @@Engteacher Congrats on your decision to make a change! It can be a stressful journey at times but well worth it! I look forward to your one year pictures!!
  12. Oh and let us know when you get the youtube going so we can watch!
  13. @@Dualstarr Congrats to all of it! Especially that not smoking!! Probably helped when you got rid of the ex!
  14. @@Babbs Well ok! That answers that! Thank you!
  15. I eat. I catch myself trying to nibble but my nutritionist said no (so bossy!) so I make myself eat at least twice a day and shakes between for my lack of food and protein. @@Essence46
  16. @ I'm 6 weeks out and outside Springfield so 3 hours from you...same state though! : )
  17. Swanson makes that and Mexican tortilla, hot n sour, and jambalaya flavored broths!
  18. @@Shari71 Nope! I just did what I could. I wasn't about to push it. By week two/three I was getting in the protein, 6 weeks later it's still hard to get all that water in but I do my best. Between my decaf tea, protein shakes , and bottled water all combined I get it but not by just Plain water. Water takes me forever!
  19. I did with unflavored protein mixed in, but as always consult your DR and see if it's allowed.
  20. @@Babbs Is it decaf? I'm in love with stash decaf spicy chai tea right now!
  21. Chai tea! Because I have become a tea fanatic since surgery! Decaf of course! I haven't ordered any yet from Starbucks I will have to ask if it's decaf?
