  1. @@lynziv It will probably take you some time. At day 4 I was all protien drinks and cocnute water. 30grams a shake but I still couldn't get in all in. Keep working on it. It should get easier.
  2. @@NewBeginning2015 Awesome! Congratulations!
  3. Take 10 tiny sips with continuously with little breaths In between if you can handle it. That always works for me! @@galadriel535
  4. @@Sapp28 You don't want to get the "I'm so full I could throw up feeling" that's a bad sign. I guess it all depends on what it is your eating. You may just be able to tolerate more food and that's ok if your eating the right things you aren't going to put on weight. It's probably too early out for you to know exactly how you will tolerate "real" food. Just take your time and don't push it. Good luck!
  5. @@chelly12A I eat a lot of protein rich foods but I cook it all at home myself so I know how much seasoning is going on the food. If I get lunch Meats from the deli I get the low sodium version( cut thick to eat with cut up cheese) I weigh out my cheese so I know exactly how much I'm eating and I track everything with my lose-it app, that way I can keep an eye on the sodium intake also. It takes longer to cook everything from fresh but at least you have control that way. I also eat a lot of seafood shrimp, crab legs, boiled eggs, all have minimal amounts of salt.
  6. That may be something you will have to keep retrying. The sleeve can be picky at times.
  7. Sorry non of that applies to me but I wanted to say..welcome and Good luck with your approval!
  8. Protein and fluids is something you just have to continually work on. It will get easier over time. I eat 3oz per meal normally I Weigh everything with my scale. I don't really use a measuring cup. I track everything with my "lose it" tracker. 1/2 cup sounds about right. @@JenniferKnaack1113
  9. Mine was 11/3@@stacyamanda32
  10. Besides your own toiletries (if you chose not to use the hospitals) gas x strips, Biotene mouth spray (for dry mouth) ear plugs, sleep mask, Chapstick, fem wipes, comfy sleep clothes and socks, I took a small extension cord for my phone, iPad ect... And a glad plug in because I hate the smell of a hospital! (I had a private room). @@melva66 That's all I can think of right now.
  11. @@yungshi I'm the same way. I make myself eat. My surgeon was not thrilled that I was only consuming 600 calls a day so he want me to get at least 1000 or else weight loss will more than likely stop (due to starvation mode) Keep working on it!
  12. Well dang it looks like you already answered your own question! You know everything your doing wrong.
  13. Happy NY! My "fun" was watching my husband drool on himself at (9:00pm) while my 5yr old son and I had a photo shoot spread featuring his face on fb! Woot woot talk about fun!! My goal (inspiration) is to drop a lot of weight by summer so I can at least get these pasty white legs out In the sun after being MIA for 15 years. My regret is being hardheaded in the gym and not learning that after you've been on a treadmill for 45 mins just because a "fit" girl gets on a treadmill beside you doesn't mean it's a "Instant competition" and you have to make damn sure she gets off her treadmill first (thus sparking the inside "that's what I though B fist pump" ) my Legs hurt!! Waaaah!
  14. @@kikicoates78 Oh! Your a bad, bad girl too!!!
  15. @@pinkbunies Lol! We are just bad! Goals my friend....goals!
  16. @@Kaela Winning Congratulations on a date!
  17. @@pinkbunies Oh and congrats on killing the "you will explode if you drink a carbonated beverage" myth!
  18. Oh I screw with everybody I just don't order anything to eat...and if my hair starts falling out with my weigh loss I'm sure to get sad face's and pampered because I'm almost positive people will assume I have some terminal disease. I shall set up a fund and use the money for plastic surgery! Suckas!!! Believe that! -
  19. @@jbrooks_rn I hear yA! My pre-op was two weeks and I could only have 3-4 protein shakes a day, sugar free jello, sugar free popsicles, and broth. That's it. I never ever cheated but it took a LOT of willpower at times. Good thing about it is once it's over you will forget about it! Just keep the ultimate goal in mind. Good luck!
  20. @@Sassafrassa My skin is doing ok thus far but I've only lost about 36 lbs (I'm only two months out) I'm 34. I still have a Ways to go so just like anything with this surgery only time will tell.
