Gallbladder removed and sleeved anyone?
In short, I had my surgery on 11/3. I Was in the hospital for two days, I haven't had any issues really. I have great restriction and no hunger still so I Track all my food to make sure I get all the protein and fluids I need in a day. I still only eat about 800 calories a day max. My carbs are low because of all the protein I may get 12 carbs a day. It's a work in progress. My surgeon would like me to eat 1100-1200 calories and more carbs but I do what I can. I've lost almost 40 lbs now and I feel great. I am also diligent about taking all my vitamins. It's been a smooth (learning) process so far. I went into this knowing that it was going to be quit a change so I try to stay stress free, I took measurements before surgery with my weight, I only weigh once every couple weeks. I try to stay off the scale. I know I'm not "cheating" I eat clean so I just allow my body to do its thing. It took me years to get as big as I was so I figure it's going to take some time to get it off. I've enjoyed the change! I'm still amazed at the fact that I'm not hungry all the time anymore. I love that my life is no longer focused around food constantly. It's been lovely.

Help. Sleeve was Monday. Feel like crap
@@jnfisher It def wouldn't hurt to let your surgeon know what's going on. Being hydrated is Really important so if you can't get fluids in then the Dr should know. If you take the two small sips and wait are you able to get a fair amount in, in a day? What are you drinking? Plain water was really hard for me to get Down in the beginning so I sipped on coconut water (it's a really good hydrator) maybe you can try that?

Burning in stomach-help appreciated!
I second what @@FrankiesGirl said! You should be fine taking a over the counter med until you can get ahold of your surgeon. I know the one time I forgot to take my PPI it was not pleasant. My surgeon has my refills set up for 3 month Increments, maybe yours will do the same?

Solo recovery?
@@Jason In Houston My husband and kids had to go back to school and work after I got home so they set me up a table next to my recliner with everything I needed...meds, heating pad, remote, phone, A big bowl of ice with my isopure ,water, and coconut water in it. I was good until they got back home. Plus it was easier to sit/sleep in my recliner.

Pill Crusher
Chewables will be your friend! Unless your just talking about medications. A pill crusher will be good, some medications aren't meant to be crushed and I don't know what your taking so ask your DR!

@@Rtbrewer2 All insurance company's are different so I can't tell you an answer but you should have the insurance companies requirements it depends on what they Say. I would think you should still be ok especially if you Dr says you will be. He/she has probably seen a lot of cases and knows. Good luck!
