Boopthistoo reacted to tomi71 in 10 months post- i SERIOUSLY need some support and direction
Don't beat yourself up. Take it from me, I am an expert at beating myself up.
Realize we all fall off the wagon. You realized that and that is half the battle. Keep on trucking. It's called a journey for a reason.
Celebrate your achievements and don't cry too much of failures.

Hoping that you feel better soon - I used to think of my sleeve as a new baby - every new food took a while to either settle or just reject - you could re-try it in another few weeks/months -

For me it's all about the carbs. Doesn't seem to matter how many calories or fat I consume – if I can stay in ketosis, the weight comes off. Very slowly now that I'm at my goal weight, but it's still inching downward. So I'd suggest that you detox from the carbs, and eat your 60-80 grams of Protein plus drink 64+ ounces of Fluid every single day. Getting 30+ minutes of exercise helps too. If you like sandwiches, eat the guts without the bread, and supplement it with a Protein shake, yogurt, or some other meat if you're still hungry. tuna and chicken salads are pretty satisfying without bread. And if you feel munchy, always chose a protein option like nuts, cheese, Jerky, meat, or Greek yogurt. I sometimes find myself going back several times for a handful of almonds, but it doesn't seem to matter, as long as I don't have any starches. No booze, fruit juices or sodas either. And avoid all sugary desserts! If you crave something that tastes sweet, sugar-free Jello, pudding, or popsicles can help with that. And I agree with the others that you should log everything that goes in your mouth for a while. If you're honest with yourself and your food log, that will help you make better choices. If you can do all these things, you stand a good chance of making your goal.
Good luck! We're all behind you!!!!

Boopthistoo reacted to alwaysvegas in Hate eating
I still enjoy food, but not with the same urgency I did pre-op. I eat about every two hours and enjoy eating, but I can easily forget to eat if I'm really busy.

Hardboiled egg whites are solid Protein and it took me a good year before I could eat them. It took me almost 18 months before I could finish an entire scrambled egg, so I'm betting you are eating too much or just aren't ready for egg whites yet.

Boopthistoo reacted to MeAndTinyTina in Always always cold
@@tomi71 - thanks, that's the most interesting theory I've heard on the cold issue. You might be right, because I started feeling cold the day I left the hospital - so loosing blubber was not the issues, since I was still more than 100 lbs overweight! Now at 8 months out and 80 something pounds down, I'm still cold. This morning in the gym they had the doors open and fans on and everyone is in short sleeves but me. Still had my 2 shirts on! Oh well, my electric bill won't be too high this summer -- really only the dogs will need it.

OK, unless you're related to that stretchy rubber guy on "FantasticFour" the after shots are not going to be pretty.
But that is fixable. But you will be healthy.....an obviously much more important priority, right?
