Think I goofed up...

I am almost 7 months post-op and decided to try egg salad today for the fist time...minus the bread of course!!! I have been cramping for over 2 hours now and am gurgling like crazy!!! Has this happened to anyone else?? All I know is I won't be eating that again!!!

Could just have been something funky about the egg salad and have nothing to do with your surgery. I mean, I'm sure there were times pre-op when you just ate something that disagreed with you, right?

Hardboiled egg whites are solid protein and it took me a good year before I could eat them. It took me almost 18 months before I could finish an entire scrambled egg, so I'm betting you are eating to

I agree with Jamie. I eat it one a week. It shouldn't be a problem if it's the only thing that has bothered you.

I know the eggs were fine...my husband ate it also and had no problems. And I eat a scrambled egg with no problem. This just took me by surprise because it last for 3 hours!

Somethings just don't work as well as others. I have a problem with eggs. Try again sometime. Just take it slow.

Give it one more try. I find that somethings my body just doesn't like any longer but you have to try twice to be sure.....I am positive I cannot eat ground beef or shredded pork any longer. Gave them each a try twice before putting it on the no list. Could have been funky egg salad or your body may have decided no more egg salad for you..

Could have been the mayo, could have been a bad batch. maybe your sleeve just doesn't like egg salad.
