Ok, how long to go down a trouser size?

I lost 100 pounds and went from 26/28 heading to a thirty to a solid 14/16 and any where from a medium to extra large in a top depending on make. I went down sizes slowly, but you will probably be down a size in six weeks.

    Hair loss

I also lost hair at about four months out. I solved the problem by getting a pixie cut.[emoji5], but I like short hair. For me it grew back as thick as it was before.
  3. I had the sleeve done three years ago and have lost and kept off 100 pounds. I occasionally have bouts of heart burn and gerd. When I get it I take Prilosec for a few weeks and I’m good. I do have hunger and do not always eat healthy, but 90% of the time I’m a healthy eater and if I eat too many sweets my body lets me know, so no matter what the surgery is you have to listen to your body and enjoy food in moderation.

    Nervous about outpatient VSG!

It definitely depends on where you get it done. I was in from Monday until Thursday, would have gone home on a Wed., but couldn’t keep anything down.

The good, bad and the ugly. CARBS!

When I was losing weight I averaged 100 grams or less. I've never gone really low on carbs. Now I average 100-140 a day. If I go above 150 I gain water weight. I also average 1,00-1,200/1,300 depending on the day.

    Driving

I tried driving about a week after surgery and was glad I only drove about a mile. My reflexes felt all off. I waited about another three days before I drove again and was fine.

    Yet another NSAID question

I'be been told no NSAIDs and take Tylenol for pain. That being said I hurt my shoulder a couple of years ago and my primary care physician told me to take them for swelling. I did and had no issues. Still I have not used them other than that short period of time. I am especially careful because Had an ulcer about a year before surgery and just don't want to chance it.

    Still obese

I have the same issue with BMW charts. I was 49 at 275 pounds. I'm now at 31 at 172. Still considered obese, but I don't see an obese person. When I talk to my doctors they just say, I've done fantastically and not to worry about BMISo I'm not,for right now anyway.

    Aging process and Sleeve

I'm a moderate carb, moderate protein, moderate fat kinda gal and have maintained a 100 pound weight loss for three years on 1,100-1,400 calories a day. So I think moderation is the key.
