  1. 155!! Finally dropped a few more lbs. I'm now 5 lbs below my original goal. 5 more then I'll be good!
  2. Back from vacation. Weight is same 158. I'll take it!
  3. 158....I guess my new norm is to lose a lb every couple weeks!
  4. Last year, I was 2 months out and sick for Thanksgiving. If I could have eaten, it would only have been a little turkey and a little veggies. This year, I'm over a year out and just below goal but I still will not approach it any differently. I will not have dessert of carbs. The only thing I may have this year is a bite or two of sweet potatoes.
  5. I'm over a year out and still weigh my food daily.
  6. I'm over a year out and would not touch any of that. Not worth it to me. I don't plan on ever going back to that.
  7. I couldn't even get a protein shake down on day 3. That's crazy!
  8. Starting weight- 159 Goal- 154 Not sure what's going to happen. The scale has hovered around 159 for like 3 weeks!!!
  9. I had them twice in May and it was absolutely awful. Worst pain imaginable and I've had 3 c sections! I'm an ER nurse and after rolling around on the floor for 4 hours I finally brought myself in! I wouldn't wish them on my enemy. My urologist said it does happen after WLS.
  10. I'm tempted as well! I feel frustrated because I'm just not losing much anymore. The scale even went up a couple pounds this week. The most annoying thing is that I'm not eating anything bad!!!!!! I still eat the same stuff I always have. I don't know. Maybe in snacking too much??
  11. My doctor fixed mine during surgery.
  12. I'm over a year out and have never tried those things. I probably could eat them but I have no desire to. Just not worth it. I'll have a hamburger wrapped in lettuce. That's fine for me. No desire to eat anything fried.
  13. I didn't introduce caffeine till I was about 9 months post op. I only did it cause I had to work night shift for a few weeks. Ever since then, I will have 1-2 cups of coffee per day.
  14. Yes I do. I'm working on it. I'm right below goal. Would like to drop a few more lbs before officially going into maintenance. How are you eating now Babbs? I know you just went into maintenance.@@AlanaRN I'm actually in the same boat you are....I'm wanting to lose a few more pounds. So I technically haven't hit maintenance quite yet. I'm still eating to lose, basically. But I've upped my calories a bit (1300) and will have some whole grain bread with a sandwich every now and then, and occasionally a treat like a cookie or alcohol. So I'm slooooowly going into maintenance mode while still trying to lose a few more. Does that make sense? The weight is not wanting to seem to come off at this point, though, so I may be done for now It makes perfect sense! We are in the same boat. I actually just changed my calorie limit in MFP to 1400. I never even come close. Usually around 1100. I'm trying to add some more veggies. I consistently get over 100 g of protein a day so I'm good in that department. Thanks for the support!

  16. I'm posting early. 159!!!!!!! GOAL
  17. I'm an ER RN and I took 6 weeks off. No way I could have done it any earlier. It was hard to do the 12 hour busy shifts even after 6 weeks.
  18. In the beginning, I bagged up all my really big clothes as soon as I grew out of it. Now that I'm a size 10-12, I am still holding on to the 14's and 16's. I have no idea why!!!!
  19. Going with the same...161. It's that time of the month and I refuse to get on scale!!!
