    Dallas, Texas Sleevers! !

I should also mention that Baylor offers a S.H.E.D. program every 3-4 months that's an exercise class. They have one at the Landry center and 1 in Plano. Its in its current session right now, but if they do offer it again it's $90 for 3 months twice a week. They have offered it twice, and I have done it twice and love it.

    Recommended Fitness Trackers?

I started with the fitbit one and now I have the chcarge hr. I wish I could afford the watch one, but not yet.
  6. I started to take magnesium chelate, one a day, and it has helped. Plus I dropped to 1 iron and 1 calcium a day per my PCP
  7. I finally did my tickers. I am so proud of myself for where I am at today. I woke up this morning and weighed in at 246.5 lbs. My surgery was 9/29/14, and I am well on my way to Onederland. I am putting 199lbs as my goal by July 4th (very ambitious, know) because that is when my dad is coming up to visit, and he hasn't seen me since Thanksgiving last year. I was only down about 20-30 lbs then. In July, he will see me totally different. He has seen my pictures, but that's not the same as in person. I cannot wait. My clothes too are falling off. I started at 26/28 sized clothing and now I can do 16-18 sizes. I can almost share clothes with my sister, that hasn't happened since I was in junior high. LOL. Who would have ever thought? Why did I wait so long? But, better late than never. I just want to also say, how inspired I get with everyone posting their success. I am proud of all of y'all. Keep up the good work!!!

    Any Dallas Texas sleevers?!

I went through True Results and choose Dr. Nicholson to do my surgery. They do in house financing with no interest and credit check. However, I did have some of my surgery paid by ins because they fixed my hernia and while in there he did my sleeve.
  10. @@Steph Jo 89084 where do you get that tracker?
  11. @lovelyme...I just now started to lose some hair. It's normal in this whole process to do so, but just depends on how much you are losing to be concerned about it. I'm guessing. My loss isn't bad, but I just make sure to take 10000 mcg of biotin and get my protein in. I have a ton of hair, so I'm not too concerned with some hair on my hands, now if it came out in clumps I would be worried. Check with your Dr or dermatologist for other options if it's bad.
  12. It's been a while since I last posted. I had a 5mo post op drs visit yesterday and all went well. I currently weigh 262.8 lbs, and I haven't been this weight probably since early 2000s, and I have more to go. Crazy, but good. HW. 375 PRE OP. 335 SW. 324 CW. 262.8 Not bad Not bad. ????

    Free Quest Bars

    Thanks for the info..
  14. According to one of the Drs I follow up with, he says my goal weight is 175, and I should get there in August. I started this journey at 345 and 324 was my surgery weight from 9/29. So, I guess it is possible, but I don't think August is my month for reaching that goal. I'm at 268 today.
  15. The Holiday snacking is killing me!!!

    Normal?

I'm at about the same post op time too. I have noticed that my legs right where they join the hip hurt....not muscle pain but joint pain. I have no swelling. It's weird...you would think being lighter you wouldn't hurt. I walk everyday, so I think my body it's just getting used to that.

    Dr. Nick Nicholson Plano, Tx.

Dr Nicholson was the same with me at my pre op, however, I went to his info session and was pretty much informed then. I knew at his seminar, I wanted him to do my surgery. I went through True Results and choose him for my surgery. I have done all my post op with nurse practioners, but I have been satisfied. I will tell u this...I went home same day, my pain was pretty much non-existent after day 2. My incision sites healed fine. I have read so many stories on how much pain they were in, and some of that is surgery technique. I had 2 coworkers sleeved, 1 by Nicholson and the other by Dr Carlton in his practice too...the one who had surgery with Carlton had a worse recovery than what I had and my other coworker. Although, Dr. Carlton did my EGD and I was fine. Just some info...hope it helps.
