My pre-cert was sent on a Thursday and I was approved by Tuesday

I had my surgery on Monday, luckily I've barely had gas pains. I've been farting (excuse me) with no problems. And if I feel gas in my tummy I take a Gas-x strip. Walking helps as well.

Just found out insurance approved so I can officially join this group without fear of jinxing myself. I will be sleeved on May 18th in just 4 days. Now I can start to freak out about actually having surgery.

Add me to this list as well. I'm scheduled for Monday 5/18 and insurance paperwork was just submitted last Thursday. Every time my phone rings I think it's the doctor's office calling to tell me I'm denied.

I'm see my primary dr on 4/1 to get my medical necessity letter. Then on 4/7 is my appt with the surgeon to submit paperwork to insurance and pick a freaking date!!

@ No, I'm not. The sleeve will be my first & hopefully last wls.

I'm going through the process now @NYP-Weill Cornell. Both Drs Pomp and Dakin have excellent reps when it comes to the band revisions. One girl I meet in a support group meeting said Dr. Pomp pretty much saved her life, that's how bad her lap band was.

My last nut appointment is beginning of March, I've done all the testing needed so once the nut's report is in maybe end of March, beginning of April. Not bad considering I started this process in November.

I'm not telling anyone at work, just taking my normal PTO days.

Thanks for this you guys just saved me $200 some odd dollars.
