So it was a successful outing! I dabbed all the oil off and tried a little at first to see how well my stomach would take it. Surprisingly I thought the pizza was pretty tasteless so I wasn't eager to eat it. I had about 1/2 a small slice and that was that. My stomach seems ok and I just told my friends I really wanted to stick to my diet. No problem! All that anxiety for nothing

I have tons of hair ... everywhere! So a little off the top won't be so bad I hope. I have noticed my re growth is already slowing down and I'm only 10 days out. So I'll take that as a plus

Just curious, how many calories is everyone up to at this point? I feel like I'm eating a ton approx 1100-1400 per day. I exercise everyday and I'm very hungry. I am at my goal weight.

My heart aches for ALL of you who have had significant Hair loss. I have not. I don't know if this has contributed to lack of hair loss for me.. I have always used products from Visisble Changes salon. You can probably check them out online. Additionally, im taking Biotin 5000mg and also the hair, nail slin product by Natures Way.
I hope this is useful informatio n!
    Hugs.

As the weight has been coming off people have noticed and felt the need to comment. Now I appreciate the kind words; however the delivery has not been so graceful. I give you the following examples:
Wow what happened to you?!?!? Are you well? Is it serious?
Hey look at you! No more hips, huh?
I can't get over your Weightloss. Your big head is gone! Well, I mean you know you had a big head.
How much have you lost? 50/60 pounds? (Only lost 40 at the time)
You look great! Almost to a normal size.
Look how beautiful you are now!
Now I know these people had good intentions but there are a few here that I'm like, seriously? One should never guess the amount of weight someone has lost. That's just asking for trouble. Also, I love the one saying how beautiful I am now, implying I wasn't beautiful before. It hurts to think about how people viewed my appearance prior to the Weightloss.
What's even funnier is that I'm still 10 pounds heavier than I was before I started at my job and people used to call me fat then and now they say how skinny I am. So weird.

Grab one of your "fat pants" and hang it up somewhere. Ask yourself, do you want to be in those again? Or better yet, get an old picture and remember how you felt in that picture.

62 pounds in 3 1/2 months?? Wow! I can't tell from your showing information how far you are from goal (I suggest you add more information like what kind of surgery you had, your goal weight, your height, etc.), but regardless of how close you are to goal, that is a very rapid weight loss for 3 1/2 months. I'm five months out and have lost only about 50 pounds since surgery, with no weight loss in more than two months.
Okay, you are aware that you have made some choices this week that aren't in keeping with your overall weight loss goals. All is not lost. Here you are asking for help and support, so there's a pat on the back for that.
So, what else is going on in your life that is keeping you from your exercise goals? The carbs one can be remedied by getting them out of your environment so that they are not there to reach for.
Perhaps, your body is reacting to such a drastic weight loss? (and maybe so are you?) and wants to put the brakes on for a minute?
You are doing so great with your weight loss. You've come a long way in a short time. Enjoy it. Remind yourself of why you opted for surgery and what your overall goals are.
And have a few sips of Water before choosing a snack that isn't in keeping with what you had planned.
Forgive yourself this moment. Tale a deep breath. And continue. You are doing great!

You're doing great. You will have these little pauses along the way, but it's a good idea to double check what you're doing like you are. I try to stick to 40 or less g of carbs per day and that works for me.

I also try to go low carb. My NUT said 100 grams or below.
Avoiding pastas, potatoes and sugars altogether and very careful with breads and tortillas.

Thank you everyone! Since my post the Weightloss resumed and I'm down 4.5 lbs in a week. I think I just don't drink enough Water. I started drinking more and bam the weight starting coming off. I still don't restrict my carbs as much as others because I do have lots of dairy (yogurt, cheese, etc) and I've been eating more veggies. I can't lie though, I do indulge in crackers from time to time. Habits are hard to break! But still absolutely no bread, Pasta, or rice. I feel good and my numbers are down so I must be doing something right ????

Hi all! I'm an October sleever. Had my surgery Oct. 1st and I'm down 50.2 lbs. Started at 227 and as of yesterday i'm 176.8! I have pretty much figured out what I can tolerate and what I can't. I still don't get all my Water in no matter how hard I try. I am also experiencing serious food boredom. I have to force myself to eat because I'm just not interested in anything.

I am extremely good about my caloric intake, fat, and carbs. I'm well aware of the high calories involved with pizza. I just wanted some advice in a new situation. And at this place there were no healthy options available, that's why I was so nervous. All in all it worked out ok.

I used to be paranoid about going out to functions because I thought people would "notice" what I was (or wasn't) eating. Well guess what? NOBODY NOTICES OR EVEN CARES. Don't stress, just choose smarter, healthier choices and don't make it all about the food. Make it about the people you're with and having a good time
