  1. I wish I had found this site, or thought to look before my surgery on 10/30. I thought I was well prepared and educated on what to expect. This week has been sort of hellish. Only because I was not prepared for the internal swelling, which made even sipping something almost impossible. I was very discouraged on 11/2 wondering if I had made the right decision. Last evening I started feeling better and tonight I actually got dressed and went to a symphony for a couple of hours. Okay, I am tired and sore, but I did it. I think we should all know the first few days you are very sore and feel like crap, but I still lost and THAT FEELS GREAT!!!
